The master of lies and mayhem, Loki is the half-brother to the Avenger, Thor. Obsessed with destroying Thor's life, Loki has long used has arcane powers to cause all manner of destruction around him. But because Thor is an Avenger, Loki has inevitably faced off against the Earth's mightiest heroes time and time again, and lost most of the battles. Because of this, Loki's hatred for Thor has extended to anyone calling himself an Avenger, and his desire to destroy the heroic team has made Loki one of the Avengers' most dangerous foes!
