Yet the man they call the zen master of speed prefers to keep a low profile, steering clear of super-hero teams and living in the small town of Manchester, Alabama. Gifted with his incredible abilities in the 1830s, Max has lived through many generations and many heroic guises, aiding other heroes in countless adventures at the speed of light… and beyond.
