The Magus created doppelgangers of several superheroes to help him get the Infinity Gauntlet. Spider-Man's doppelganger was one of the few who survived (although, being a copy, it is unknown if he "lives" per se), and has associated with other enemies of the wall-crawler at times, like the Demogoblin or Carnage.
