Durham Red was born and raised in the Milton Keynes ghetto for mutants. She escaped by becoming a bounty hunter, using her unique mutation of vampirism to bring fugitives to justice. But years of killing for a living left her disillusioned so Durham put herself into suspended animation. When she awoke 1300 years later, the galaxy was a very different and dangerous place!
