Grifter is the only full-blooded human member of the WildC.a.t.s. Once a petty thief and con artist by the name of Cole Cash, the mysterious Grifter joined up with the WildC.a.t.s. when he saved Zealot from the Daemonites. After realizing the ultimate evil plans of Helspont, Cole Cash, having no logical alternatives, decided to join the WildC.a.t.s. and fight the merciless Daemonites. Though he is human and possesses no super-powers per se, he is, nonetheless, the master of the sleight-of-hand, trained by Zealot in the ancient Kherubim combat style, Grifter is not he best human fighter on the planet. Both cool and streetwise, Grifter uses his gritty knowledge, fast hands, and even faster with to aid the Kherubim cause. Fearless, unpredictable, and self-confident, Grifter's grim humor and love of danger make him an unusual foe for the Daemonites. In recognition of his deadly marksmanship, Jacob Marlows, task force creator of the WildC.a.t.s., bestowed upon the Grifter a customized Kherubim energy blaster. This hi-tech weapon gives the Grifter the edge he needs against the alien Daemonites!
