Ben Tennyson was a normal kid. His life radically changed one summer while on a camping trip with his cousin Gwen and his uncle Max. While out in the wilderness, a small alien pod crashed from the sky, landing close to Ben. Upon investigating, the pod transformed into a gauntlet and attached itself to Bens arm. This device, called the Omnitrix, gave Ben the ability to utilize the powers of 10+ species of alien creatures for a given time. Unfortunately it wasn't all good. Other aliens, evil aliens, had heard of the Omnitrix and set out for earth to retake it for conquest, no matter what. Knowing he had a responsibility to keep earth safe, Ben swore to use his new powers to fight evil and to keep the Omnitrix and earth free from the clutches of darkness.
