 I just get some Citadel gun metal silver (any silver will do), then dry brush around the edges of the figure like on the torso and shoulder pads. After that I do a really light silver dry brush over the entire figure then I cover the figure in black paint (do this in sections so the paint doesn't dry) then wipe it off with a cloth. It's like a black wash but gives a stronger effect
