I thought about doing that but figured that it would have to be executed perfectly to look good in my tastes, so I went with the safer, electricity-less whips. Thanks for the input, though!

Thanks! Glad you like it!

Thanks for the kind words guys! I also think that the characters were a little over the top in the film (as they seem to be directed towards the kids in the audience), but the molds they came up have a lot of detailing and great potential for repaints.

Very good work with the LEDs. How did you manage to fit him inside that small head?
I'd recommend that you paint some of the surrounding area of his optics black so that you can make his 'eyes' smaller like they are in the movie.

Thanks! It looks pretty much the same, only with some added paint details. I have one vehicle mode pic in the custom showcase page. You can also see more pics of this and my other customs on Flickr, username mampynator.

Thanks bro! I'd love to see your take on Sideswipe.

Yeah he's pretty much hoarder-bait here in the Philippines, too. Goes for almost double the price in 'hobby shops'.
Thanks man!
Glad you like it! Thanks!
Thanks! I love the details on the HA Sideswipe but I don't dig the proportions too much.

This looks great! I love the weathering.
This looks very nice. The chrome is outstanding. Too bad alclad isn't available in my country.

PM sent.
Thanks man! I'm glad you like it. Yeah it took a little over a month to do on and off. There was still so much detail on this mold that I decided to leave unpainted because you didn't really see them highlighted on the onscreen CG model.
I'm glad you think so. Thanks!
Thanks man! I made a tutorial for the weapon mods that might help.
**Oops, I can't post URLs yet. Haha. Can I do that via PM?
Thanks I personally like how they refreshed Prime's look with flames but yeah a lot of people seem to like a more G1-esque flameless color scheme. I might do a G1 repaint if I had the time. Haha.
IMO the ROTF Leader figures are so much better than the ones from the first movie. Megatron's design is pretty strong as well but yeah I agree that this one is miles better. This is definitely my favorite TF yet.

Oh yeah, does anyone know if I can upload GIFs? I have an animated GIF of the autobots transforming that I'd like to share.
Thanks, man! Yeah, I do have more detailed pics of each figure. Unfortunately, I think that this board has a rule against posting "duplicate images", which also applies to group shots? I dunno.. I just remember reading it somewhere after I submitted this set of pics. I'm new here sorry. Is it still okay to post the individual pics?
In any case, you guys can also check out this thread on other TF forums such as TFW2005 or seibertron. I am still unable to post links
Thanks! Jazz was painted in a "burning platinum" color car paint. I stumbled upon it by accident after I was forced to look for alternatives because I couldn't get the Tamiya acrylic gunmetal I initially used to go on neatly. I kept getting visible brush strokes, no matter how much wet sanding I did.
Yeah, there is so much detail on these movie figures, but it makes it all the more rewarding after you finish painting them.
