Talon
Designer Series (DC Collectibles) - Greg Capullo
Rated 5.00 stars by BobTheEgg
I love this figure! The Talons, just recently introduced to Batman's world, are without question some of his most formidable opponents and this figure displays their hostility. Armed to the teeth with knives and swords - and even a Court Of Owls Mask (customizers, take note,) the articulation and detail on the Talon are some of the best I've ever seen. DC Collectibles has really raised the bar with this beautiful rendition. There are so many weapons! I just can't believe it. It's like a GI Joe. I know this is far-fetched, but I'm hoping that DC keeps making Talons like Felix Harmon (The Gotham Butcher) and Calvin Rose. If you see this figure, I strongly suggest you pick him up. If not... the Court of Owls has sentenced you to die!...[See More]

I've bought several of them, some for MIB, some display only, others for custom projects! Another one DC made (all versions of Deathstroke...lol) is the Son of Batman Deathstroke. If you love Talon, this is a good Deathstroke! (Not that they've made a bad one ever...lol)
Kane
WWE Elite Collection (Mattel) - Series 31
Rated 5.00 stars by BobTheEgg
The superior Wolverine figure in every way possible. Sure, it's a repaint, but that is no disadvantage. Individually removable claws for the first time on any action figure sculpt. Insane articulation. Crazy detail. Awesome figure. I paid around 15 dollars without shipping to buy this off of Toywiz dot com. Looked over all the 6 Inch Wolverines made and this one looked the best by far. Nice display base too. You won't see him in stores, but look on a big retailer's site and you might be able to nab the best Wolverine action figure ever made....[See More]
Ghost Rider
Marvel Universe - Fury Files (Hasbro) - Wave 10
Rated 5.00 stars by BobTheEgg
This is such a great figure and it's surprisingly easy to find so, if you collect Marvel Universe figures or want to start collecting, there's no reason to pass it up. This Ghost Rider's mold was so good that it has been reused over and over again in the Marvel Universe line. That's because 1) there's a great amount of articulation on it (waist swivel!), 2) there are a lot of characters with costumes that can be modified from it, and 3) there are so many creases, folds, and little details on the figure that it's just fantastic. Ghost Rider himself has a great clear fiery head, with a creepy smiling skull that really captures the nature of his demonic stare. You can see the orange hughes in his eye sockets, simulating the flames within. Ponies with rainbow wings can also be seen if you...[See More]

Marvel Universe - Fury Files (Hasbro) - Comic Packs - Greatest Battles
Rated 4.80 stars by BobTheEgg
I am very, very impressed with this two-pack. Though it may come with a reprint comic book as opposed to display bases, the two figures more than make it a great buy. Deadpool has a very nice paint job, and a comical facial expression that suits the character quite well. He can store all of his accessories on his body, which is very nice, and he seems to hold them all quite firmly, more or less. Plus, he includes two katanas (of course), a hunting knife, and a pistol (not sure what model). He's also nicely articulated and comes with a lot of original pieces not recycled from old figures, which is nice. Taskmaster also has fantastic, vibrant paint apps on his costume, which add a lot of excitement to the cleverly recycled parts making up his mold. He can hold all of his well painted...[See More]
Batmobile
Batman - Comics (Mattel) - Accessories
Rated 5.00 stars by BobTheEgg
Oh, man. This is beyond words. So awesome... Eh, I'll try to put it in words anyway. This beautiful piece of plastic machinery is THE Batmobile. With countless features and an incredible paint job, as well as tons of details and two removable vehicles INSIDE of it, it's definitely the definitive 6 inch Batmobile. Classic two-seater with all the works from a battering ram with a missile launcher to a removable glider to Robin's remote eject motorbike - and, of course, clipping seat belts. Mattel just went above and beyond to make the best Batmobile of all time. Such a shame that it was recalled. So glad I snagged one of these before they went away. If you're lucky and you see it anywhere, if you are in need of a Batmobile, if you want something awesome to display your 6 inch Batman,...[See More]

Marvel Universe - Fury Files (Hasbro) - Box Sets
Rated 4.00 stars by BobTheEgg
I found this box set in the discount isle at Wal-Mart for $15.00. I thought it was a reasonable price and I really liked the characters that were featured. I had just purchased the first issue of Rocket Raccoon at the time. After opening the box, I could tell that I would be satisfied with my purchase. The paint on all the figures looked very good. Drax's tattoos were cleanly applied, and the textures on Rocket's fur looked amazing. My only big problem was with articulation. Typically, a three pack of Marvel Universe figures includes three figures, right? So I thought this pack would come with three figures. Instead, the only real figures you get are Drax and Starlord. I love Rocket Raccoon and Groot, but they're more like accessories than action figures. Groot is just a tiny statue and...[See More]
G.I. Joe Trooper
G.I. Joe - Retaliation (Hasbro) - Basic Series
Rated 4.80 stars by BobTheEgg
I picked up this figure at a local Target for $9. A bit pricey for me as I usually buy Joes at discount stores, but this guy caught my eye because of his vibrant colors and detail (okay, maybe also his resemblance to Master Chief from Halo). He also came with a TON of cool stuff, and it seemed as if he could hold it at the same time. Right on all counts. This figure is absolutely incredible. He has all the usual GI Joe articulation, as well as the all new rocker ankles, and his elbow ball joints have an especially large range of motion for nice gun wielding. His various pouches, harnesses, cape, and backpack do not hinder his movement at all either. The cape might even be a nice weapon concealer. He has a solid, well working articulation design that works well and fits his marching...[See More]
Rorschach (Masked)
Watchmen (DC Direct) - Series 1
Rated 3.50 stars by BobTheEgg
After months of searching, I finally found a masked Rorschach figure. Odd that the "exclusive variant" is easier to find than the regular figure. The detail on this figure is spectacular, and it is so spectacular that if you position Rorschach just right you can't even notice that he is an action figure. The paint job is beautiful and artistic and realistic, and I love the look of everything. However, Rorschach, being one of the lead characters in Watchmen, moves around a lot. Before I got this figure I thought he would be able to kick down doors, or shoot a flame thrower, or at least write and do detective work or something. This figure can do none of those things. It is more like a statue than a figure which is understandable, considering the fact that it is DC Direct, but they didn't...[See More]
Bullseye
Marvel Legends (Toy Biz) - Series 9 - Galactus Series
Rated 5.00 stars by BobTheEgg
I do not own very many Toybiz Marvel Legends figures, but from what I have, Bullseye fit right in. I had just gotten the Nemesis Hasbro Daredevil and I wanted a Bullseye, so I picked up an in-package one at a comic book store. The figure does not include any accessories other than the Galactus piece, which I thought was fine. I just got some guns and knives at a dollar store with some generic SWAT figure. To me, the fact that the Bullseye figure itself is so beautifully painted and articulated and the fact that it really looks like Bullseye makes it a great toy. It is, along with Elektra, the best Toybiz action figure I own so far. The comic book was really a nice touch, and I really think that Bullseye would be a great addition to the collections of any Daredevil fan, Marvel Legends fan,...[See More]
Fantomex
Marvel Legends (Hasbro) - Arnim Zola Series
Rated 5.00 stars by BobTheEgg
This is a truly incredible action figure. I was one of the many fans who had waited years for a Fantomex action figure and this was so much more than I expected. The paint and detail is spectacular. The eyes are done beautifully with the rest of the face and head. Articulation is great. His pistols fit into the holsters perfectly and his trench coat allows a free range of movement that does not limit him in any way whatsoever. He fits right in with his X-Force teammates and can hold many of the weapons from other figures in my collection, such as Marvel Select Deadpool's pistols or DC Universe Classics Deathstroke's rifle, staff, and pistol. I paid $27 dollars for this guy after hunting for him for two months and he was worth every cent. If you see him for $30 or less, pick up Fantomex....[See More]
