I'm having mixed feeling about this set.Sure! both charcaters are an important part of my collection,but I haven't really grown on them.I really don't know why.You see,I think that starfire's body is a bit skinny, I would have prefered if mattel used the power girl/wonder woman/artemis body.I think it would have fit o'l starfire here better.My starfire's paint apps are fine.No major quality issues .Articulation is standard for DCUC and works really well with m growing teen titans collection. Adam strange is an another story.I don't like this costume.It should have many raised elements and Mattel has don nothing.Adam sports a broken leg and a broken bicep.Mattel, come on......... Overall.This set is probaly reserved for people that love DCUC, No one should avoid them but hope you don't...[See More]

you can probaly see that the bodies are complete reuse of previous figures.Hal jordan is a direct rerelease with a new paintjob of the wave 3 figure.Abin sur is the main draw of this pack.Me myself passed on these figure many times.I only picked them up after getting kilowog.The abin sur is fine.But he had a loose bicep and his leg broke off.I ended up switching arms with jordan and switching legs with jordan as well.I would only pick up this figure as a teambuilder and nothing more...[See More]

First I would like to mention that spectre is a member of wave 12,not wave 11.I've just recieved a package from a website consisting of 2 spectres ,2 mary marvels and 1 Dr.mid-nite.All from wave 12.Anyway ,the first figure I opened was the glow in the dark spectre,the one I am most thrilled for.I immediatly tested the glow in the dark feature and It really worked.It does glow in the dark! However,you need to pay the price -----the detail.There is no detail on this variant,no shading no color variation no everything.It's your choice wheter you are willing to pay the price.I sure am.(cause I bought 2!)The sculpt on the cape is briliant.It has tons of details all over the cape.The buttons,the hoos are sculpted nicely.He also has new sculpted hands.They are open and are like casting spells on...[See More]

I was hesitating wheter to buy this figure because I was not a big fan of the return of superman storyline.But after picking up the whole wave.Every figure was awesome,so I went back and picked him up.He was okay.Not a excellent figure but not a below standard figur.He does not have a lot of new parts,notably his head and bracelets.The head is sculpted very nicely ,thiugh it restrictes the head articulation.I wished that this figure could have been given an open hand and been given some accesories.Some bullet paches or at least some guns would have helped.After all,he's ""be prepared""(if you read the comic book you would know).Wheter to buy this figure? Dr. Fate (Modern)

I like Dr,fate.I've always liked him during the JLU show .So I'm happy he's finally shown up in the DCUC libe.They released 2 versions of this charcter.The classic and the modern .This review is on the modern.This is actually the hctor hall version the succesor the kent nelson.but we won'tget to that let's get to this figure. The main problem with this figure is the paint.the gold works nice.The yellow works nice.But together? not so good.... All gold would have worked a lot better at least that's what I think.Other that that,Faboulous figure.The helmet is nice,and He sports a new cape thn the classic Dr.fate.Brilliant figure,which one to buy.This one,It just looks way coller.With so many customizers here,just paint the yellow parts gold....[See More]

Chemo (Collect & Connect)

I've just completed chemo!After visiting my local comics shop I came out with the entire wave9,wave 8and wave 7.Hapy weekend!Chemo's sculpt is a piece of beauty,the bubbles and gauntlets are done expertly by the four horsemen.Well done on that! the tubes on chemo's back connect to his arms .nice touch on that!The body is transparent so it gives a bubbly fell to it. The articulation on chemo is below standard (even for a DC direct) No head,torso,in and out legs.The upper and lower half also keep seperating from each other.This causes a problem during playing but won't cause to much fuss on the shelf.Overall, Chemo is a pretty nice figure. He's more or less the same height as giganta,the tallest C&C figure.He's not worth 50 bucks or 60.But for a strong wave like this.Chemo is a plesant...[See More]

I've just picked uo this figure from my local comics shop.It's a bit late because I've did't want to pick upa superman with mullet hair.But after being disatisfied with my 5-pack superman.I've decided to give it a try.suprisingly,this figure turns out prettywell.The body sculpt is same as all supermen but the mullet is sculpted really well.all joints on this figure is fine and pick up this figure,it won't disappoint you!...[See More]

First of all,A very very nice figure.I like the headsculpt a lot.He has a calm and rational face(which he should have) well done on that,four horsemen!He features thye exact same buck for all DCUC figures.But has a lightning molded onto his back.They are not removable(unless you put strengh)and it's fine with me.The energy blasts that come from his hand,though is removable and I cannot get it back on.That's the only problem I have.The paint on my figure is fine but I heard some collectors have their superman's white sratched of.Definetly check before you buy....[See More]

superman red is a pretty coll figure.his sculpt is actually different than superman blue.his head has a meaner hed sculpt,which fits the charcter very well.The articulation is standard for a DCUC figure.No frozen or broken joints.The one problem I have (which the blue one has also) is the energy blasts which shoul be fastened to his hand cannot fit on his hand,It keeps falling off and I can't get it on.Besides that,brillant figure.I still prefer the blue one though,because the ble is the main focus during the storyline....[See More]

Wildcat black is not as good as blue wildcat.the paint on my bl. Wildcat is messy. It has blue highlights which I am not a big fan of. Another problem is that my wildcat" s legs broke off right out of pack. Definetly buy the blue one. Aside from the broken leg. Articulation is the same....[See More]
