Thanos
Silver Surfer (Toy Biz) - Cosmic Power Blasters
Rated 4.50 stars by Collectar
This Thanos figure is one of the best marvel action figures I have. He is very robust and looks amazing. I have two Thanos action figures, one is of the Fantastic Four action figure line and the other one is obviously this one. The one of the Fantastic Four line resembles the comic Thanos precisely. This one not that much. And yet I like this one to be much more. It has this Thanos – like energy around it. The evil smile, the pointing finger, great wide chest and a bigger chin. His arms are almost twice as big as the other Thanos figure. All with all this figure has more articulation points and a better pose. His accessory is this big cosmic gun called the “Infinity Blaster” instead of a lady purse. Much more masculine would you not say? The golden colour the creators used in the...[See More]
Hulk (Power Punch)
Incredible Hulk - Movie (Hasbro) - Basic Series
Rated 5.00 stars by Collectar
Cool Factor: Check. Articulation: Check. Awesomeness: Check. Brutality: Check. This figure is by far one of the best hulk action figures ever made by men. Especially Because of the police car boxing glove. But why o why did they not put the other half of the car in the package? It would make the figure more complete and he would definitely resemble the scene in the movie where he goes toe to toe with the Abomination. I guess it is because of the one way swing action? However to get back to how cool this figure is… just put him next to the toybiz x-men action figure line and he scales almost perfectly with a lot of figures of that line. Also his posture is so much different then all the other Hulk action figures that are made till now. He looks taller and less bulkier then other Hulk...[See More]
Sabretooth (Self Healing Wounds)
X-Men (Toy Biz) - Series 2
Rated 2.00 stars by Collectar
This is the earlier Sabretooth character action figure. This one also lacks the scaling compared to other action figures of this line. He is not big enough to be a Sabretooth. My point is clear I guess. This figure came twice when I bought a action figure lot. One of them I want to customize to a Shi’ar Imperial Guard Fang. Yeah, I couldn’t find a Wolverine – Fang action figure. The figure has a trigger on its back which changes the “plate” on the chest of the figure. It reminds me very very much of Battle Armor He-man. Did anyone else noticed this? Well, anyways. The accessory doesn’t make any sense. Any sense at all. I mean what is it? What does it do? Why not give him a chain or a piece of stone. darn it give him a door to throw with. But not this thing. If you want the Marauders on...[See More]

One other important note of interest is HIS EYES GLOW IN THE DARK, automatically knocking his awesomeness up ten points
Nightcrawler (Super Suction)
X-Men (Toy Biz) - Series 1
Rated 4.00 stars by Collectar
I love the character and so am I very happy that an action figure was made for him. Just as any other action figure of this line, Nightcrawler lacks the scaling compared to other action figures of this line. The manufacturers designers made him to big for my opinion. Remember that he is shorter then Wolverine and is about the height of Jubilee. The accessory, a sword, is nicely thought for I remember Nightcrawler wielding two swords in many occasions. Like in the game X-men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse, in some super moves he uses two swords. And that is exactly my next point. When you give him one sword, why not give him two? O I remember, he has suction naps. The suction naps on his right knee and his left hand are very unnecessary and have been removed by me off of mine action...[See More]

According to Marvel's wiki, Nightcrawler is 5 feet 9 inches tall. Much taller than Wolverine and Jubilee. He's just shown crouching all the time so I can understand the confusion.
Magneto
X-Men (Toy Biz) - Age of Apocalypse
Rated 5.00 stars by Collectar
This is probably the best magneto figure ever made. He looks awesome. The cape, the helmet, the coloring resembles the comic's age of apocalypse story line mageneto precisely. The cape should be bigger actually. For he is Magneto Rex. Catch my drift? The hair and other detail look very nice too. His accessory is a metal hand. This is made out of transparent plastic so you must look very focused too see that magneto has made himself a metal glove. This glove fits on perfectly and makes the figure look even nicer. When you look at the gloves, boots and collar, you can see how this adds to the overall detail of this action figure. This action figure made me buy others from this age of apocalypse line. I have nathan (X-man) which stands almost in perfect proportion with magneto. Then...[See More]
Lion-O
ThunderCats (LJN) - Heroes
Rated 2.50 stars by Collectar
Sorry but what was it exactly that made LJN make the whole Thundercats action figures line look so crappy and cheap? Every figure has a proportion problem. Lion-o is a lot bigger then Panthro or Tigra. This figure has almost no articulation so what ever pose you want to give him he looks stupid on the shelf. I think Jaga is the only one that comes near his proportions and matches the cartoon "reality" measurements. Lion-o was very lame in the cartoon and this has been reflected on the figure by some reason by LJN. The accessories are crappy and worthless. They were added just to give you the feeling that this action figure wanna be was complete. Well...., it didn't change anything. Mattel should have bought the rights and trade marks and put them into the masters of the universe vintage...[See More]

Spider-Man (Toy Biz) - Spider-Wars
Rated 4.00 stars by Collectar
Well, first of all I am happy that this figure was made. That way may shelf could contain on more figure from Maximum Carnage. This Infinity Wars left over figure has six arms. Very cool by the way. The bad thing about the arms is the very poor articulation. None but that the arms can rotate on the joint that attaches the arms to the body. Also on both side the arms get in each others way. So you can not move them freely. That is, I think the only down point of this figure. There are a lot of positive points I can mention about this figure. When you make him stand up straight the figure stands out above many other figures of this line. He looks awesome and gruesome. The accessory is kind of okay but a little unnecessary. The open mouth and needle teeth, the tung sticking out, the figure...[See More]
He-Man
He-Man - 2002 Series (Mattel) - Basic Series
Rated 3.50 stars by Collectar
When I was a little man (lol), I always prayed to GOD that He-man should be brought back into this world. When after 10 years of praying GOD finally listened to me, he played a little trick on me. The cartoon that was released had the same 5 sound effects for every action the cartoon figures did (Mortal Kombat - Scorpion's spear attack sound). The characters had a metamorphose but looked okay. He-man looked okay and Prince Adam was smaller in the cartoon then him. But when the toy came out....... man o man o man. I did buy He-man. And I bought him 6 times. (to make a Faker, Wundar, King Randor, Count Marzo and a Spikor... yeah I know, I'll post them one day). But why o why? Why was He-man looking starved and skinny. Why was he standing with his neck bend and his head looking like he's...[See More]
