Tomorrow Woman Amazing Androids (DC Direct) - Basic Series Rated 0.00 stars by velchon Name: TOMORROW WOMAN
Series: JLA, Amazing Androids
Company: DC Direct, 2000
UPC Barcode: 761941225173
Overview: Created to destroy the JLA from within, Tomorrow Woman stands 6 inches tall. She has articulation at the shoulders, elbow, hips, and ankles (?), total of 8 points.
The Good: Really nice sculpt and paint job taken right from the comics, including her star-shaped "beauty mark" and the earrings, even that peek-a-boo skirt.
She just _looks_ like she can take on anybody, good large-boned and muscular body without sacrificing her femininity. Also leads to a nice solid figure.
The Bad: Cape is not removable. Even superheroes go casual sometimes.
Tomorrow Woman's feet are so close together a feather could knock her over! She stands pretty easily, but...[See More]
Goblin Queen Marvel (Toy Biz) - Mutant X Rated 0.00 stars by velchon Name: GOBLIN QUEEN
Series: Mutant X, 2001
Copany: Toy Biz
Item (Stock) # : 43362 (Assortment 4336, 2nd figure)
UPC Barcode: 035112433620
Overview: The Goblin Queen, an evil and more sorcerous clone of Jean Grey, stands 5" tall. She has articulation at the shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles (8 points). No accessories other than a green "X" stand and a nice chrome card of the Goblin Queen.
The Good: It's the Goblin Queen, one of the coolest and little-known Marvel villains. She got lost in the shuffle with all the other Jean Grey clones / spirits / evil dopplegangers but in some ways is nearly as powerful as the full-power Phoenix.
The shoulders are a ball joint so she can move her arms side to side as well as up and down.
Nicely painted costume details, also...[See More]
Judge Anderson 2000 AD (Funko) - Basic Series Rated 0.00 stars by velchon Name: JUDGE ANDERSON
Line: 2000 AD Series I, 1999
Company: Re-Action
UPC Barcode: 690355000024
Overview: Taken from the pages of the classic Judge Dredd and 2000 AD comics, Judge Anderson stands 5.5" tall. She has articulation at the head, shoulders, elbows, and forearms (7 points). The figure comes with a can of Boing!, a mine-like Suction Trap, and a Lawgiver Mark I Pistol.
The Good: Excellent job on getting the Judge's uniform right, even to the eagle beltbuckle. Her uniform actually features a chain on the non-moving "zipper" connecting it to her Psi-Judge badge!
Her left hand can be turned palm-up to hold the Boing! can perfectly.
Her elbows are ball jointed and so can be moved side to side as well as up and down. Her forearms can be turned completely...[See More]
Hannah Dundee Cadillacs and Dinosaurs (Tyco) - Basic Series Rated 0.00 stars by velchon Figure: HANNAH DUNDEE
Line: CADILLACS AND DINOSAURS, 1993
Company: TYCO
Stock Number: 1302-3 (Assortment 1302, 3rd figure)
UPC Barcode: 043302130235
Overview: Drawn from the short-lived (but well-done) Saturday morning cartoon "Cadillacs And Dinosaurs", this is Hannah Dundee, the female star of the show. She stands 4.25" tall with articulation at the head, shoulders, and hips (5 points total). She comes packaged with a crossbow and two 2.5" long arrows; the crossbow is spring-loaded to shoot one arrow while holding the second one.
The Good: That crossbow shoots! I've had shots regularly travel over 8 feet!
Hannah is taken straight out of the cartoon series, wearing the same costume; red belly-baring halter top tied in front, light blue
trouseres, black boots, and...[See More]
