Batman (Mondo) Reviews
Bane (Exclusive) Batman (Mondo) - Animated Series Rated 4.65 stars by RMaster007 I'm not much of a sixth-scale guy, mainly because they're so expensive, but Mondo is one of the best companies in that department. Reason being that they're the only ones really willing to make animated characters in this scale, with properties such as Batman, X-Men, Masters of the Universe, and a good deal more. I haven't gotten too much of their stuff, since I only have so much space and money, their Batman line is great, and their latest release is here in the form of Bane. He didn't have much of a presence in BTAS, but I was looking forward to getting him once he was revealed.
Bane, as is usually the case for sixth-scale figures, comes in a huge box. It doesn't seem to be as long across as others in this line, but man, is it deep. The box is simple in design, being a solid blue...[See More]
Harley Quinn (Timed Edition) Batman (Mondo) - Animated Series Rated 4.80 stars by RMaster007 Although I haven't been keeping up with Mondo's Batman Animated line, from what I've been hearing, they're really good, and while Catwoman was the only one I had up until recently, I'm starting to get into it more. I pre-ordered Bane when the timed edition was up, and I also got Harley Quinn some time ago as well. Most fans know she was a character created for the show, and has since become an iconic villain in the franchise, so her inclusion in this line was a no-brainer.
The box is pretty simple in nature, being red all around, but Danny Haas' art on the front is great. This is a fifth-panel box with an opening flap to reveal the contents inside, and it's made out of a thick, durable cardboard. It's very easy to open up and get everything out, so there's no reason not to play with...[See More]
Catwoman (Exclusive) Batman (Mondo) - Animated Series Rated 4.75 stars by RMaster007 If there's one thing I can say about sixth scale, it's that it's not for everyone. While there's plenty out there, the high prices of them are a big turn-off, and besides that, there aren't a lot of licenses that interest me. I'm not a Star Wars fan, and there isn't much Marvel-wise that interests me, but one company that does have me reeled in a bit is Mondo. Their TMNT Michelangelo was the first one I got, and now I have a second figure: Catwoman, sporting her Batman: the Animated Series design. While they have done Batman and Mr. Freeze beforehand, you're going to have to pay big bucks on the secondhand market for them, and I don't feel like doing that (yet).
We got a big fifth-panel box for the figure, and the illustration on the front, depicting Catwoman holding a pearl necklace,...[See More]
