Overcast (Allspark Power)
Transformers - Movie (Hasbro) - Deluxe Class
Rated 5.00 stars by Collector1
A certifiable sociopath and sadist, Overcast has a truly inhuman body, his pseudo-face looking more like a camera lens and lacking any hands. His body is a redeco of the Dreadwing mold, recolored form white and gray to black and yellow. Overcast's alt mode is that of a MiG-29 Mikoyan "Fulcrum" fighter jet with an unsually large...thing at the bottom of it that unfolds into his legs in robot mode. Arm's too long, legs too short and chest too wide, Overcast is a very disturbing individual transformer with a single cycloptian eye mounted in the middle of his long head. His arms are in fact his vehicle modes engines, lacking hands in place of twin missle launchers that eject spring loaded, yellow plums of flame. His head is made up of his cockpit giving him a destinct Xenomorph style...[See More]
Frenzy
Transformers - Movie (Hasbro) - Robot Replicas
Rated 4.50 stars by Collector1
Tiny, evil, spastic, crack addict. Frenzy is all these things and more. A Decepticon spy and all around pychopath, Frenzy is not one to cross with his machine guns and high speed razor disk launchers! The Robot Replica Frenzy is much closer to the CGI model used for the 2007 movie than the previous, none articulated (or limited articulated) toys previously released as accessories with Barricade or the fast action battler toy. Frenzy is the only toy in the Robot Replica line that lacks Revlotech style joints. This is because of the thinness of his limbs would make them impractical, so, Frenzy has socket joints to make up for it. Frenzy has interchangeable arms, the regular claws and a machine gun type limb. Because of the different style joints, and size, Frenzy can not hold one of...[See More]
Optimus Prime
Transformers - Movie (Hasbro) - Robot Replicas
Rated 4.50 stars by Collector1
Journeying to the planet Earth in order to retrieve the All Spark before it falls into the hands of the wicked Decepticons, Optimus Prime is willing to sacrifice everything if it means saving the lives of the Human's caught between the two warning factions, even his own life. Robot Replicas Optimus Prime is an incredible detailed and CGI Model accurate action figure that uses Revoltech-style jointing, meaning that he is loaded down with swivel joints. This enables Optimus Prime to be highly possable, more so than most other Transformers. However, this comes at the cost of being unable to transform. This still makes him three billion times better than an Action Master. Optimus Prime comes with interchangeable hands, his normal hands an his Ion Blaster. You can also swap out his hands...[See More]
Jazz
Transformers - Movie (Hasbro) - Deluxe Class
Rated 4.00 stars by Collector1
Do it with style, or don't do it at all! That's Jazz's motto and his choice of alternate Earth mode reflects that. This cool cat Autobot transformers into a very detailed Pontiac Solstice GPX with a nice, shiny paint job. Jazz's rear bumper, which forms his legs in robot mode, is a little misaligned but it does not interfere in either form. Jazz's gun can attach to his spoiler and act as a mounted laser cannon/machine gun. Jazz's transformation is rather simple, but you can get hung up when transforming his arms which are his front wheels and hood. The automorph gimmick on Jazz comes into play when you push down the car top which raises the head and pushes out the grill to complete the transformation. The robot mode is moderately accurate to the CGI model from the movie. The...[See More]
Starscream (G1 Repaint)
Transformers - Movie (Hasbro) - Exclusives - Target
Rated 5.00 stars by DTM
Hey guys, my first review! I am going to review the Target G1 exclusive Starscream. Robot Mode: Starscream is just under the 8 inch mark. He is taller than Voyager Megatron, and he has a huge chest bulk which I think makes him look strong. He has a new head mold that almost matches his G1 head. He has orange light piping for his eyes and mouth. He has a little Deception insignia on his forehead, it's really small though, but it's good detail. Paint: He has a nice gloss on his head and some grey around his mouth, just like the G1 Starscream. He has red on his chest, chest "wings", and the exposed wires. He has blue on his arms, near the shoulder, and forearm/ missle launchers. His feet also have blue at his ankles knee and toes. The majority of his body is greyish. The windshield from...[See More]
Optimus Prime
Transformers - Movie (Hasbro) - Leader Class
Rated 4.50 stars by Collector1
From the tiny little rivets, and the subtle autobot symbol on top of the grill, this Optimus Prime is one of the most detailed I've ever seen! Each finger is individually mobile with the thumbs having a ball and socket joint. This enable you to make Optimus give awesome poses and give the bird to Megatron. The figure, like almost all modern Transformers, is incredible possible, but its weight and bulkiness often make it lose balance. The gun is sleek and futuristic with a spring loaded launcher, giving it a good range. The head, while close to the movie, falls a little flat with very little detail. The transformation is tricky at first, but with practice, it becomes second nature. The "automorph" feature here is for his head. Once in robot mode, to complete the transformation,...[See More]
Ironhide
Transformers - Movie (Hasbro) - Voyager Class
Rated 4.50 stars by Henchmen4Hire
This is definitely the TF to get out of all the Movie Transformers made so far. He will not disappoint you! Ironhide is almost 7 inches tall and looks awesome, which is everything I can hope for in a Voyager-Class TF. He's not 100% movie-accurate of course, but it looks great nonetheless. The main problem being that since he's almost completely black, a lot of the detail of the sculpting is muted. There are copper and silver-blue areas, but they don't help much. Maybe some silver-gray high-lights would have helped, to give him that tattered appearance because he is supposed to be a veteran warrior after all. The huge cannon (seriously, it's ridiculously huge!) can break into 2 to store one on each side of the truck (or place a piece on each arm in robot-mode). They're designed to look...[See More]
Brawl
Transformers - Movie (Hasbro) - Leader Class
Rated 4.00 stars by Henchmen4Hire
A big tank is nice to have, but you're definitely going to be displaying this Brawl in robot-mode 99% of the time! Now, I don't know where people are getting 11.5 inch-tall Movie Leader Brawls, but the one I bought is a little over 8.5 inches-tall to the top of the head and almost 12 inches to the top of those long barrels on the main turret. Are people counting those things as part of his height? Why? So if I wear a hat with 5 foot-long horns, I'm 11 feet tall? Hah. The huge size is the main reason I bought this TF, and even though 8.5 isn't as gargantuan as I wanted it to be, Brawl still looks in-scale with the other TFs in the series. This version of Brawl is a completely new figure, not just a super-sized Brawl Deluxe with bacon and cheese, extra pickles, hold the onions 'cuz they...[See More]
Brawl
Transformers - Movie (Hasbro) - Deluxe Class
Rated 3.50 stars by Henchmen4Hire
From the second I saw it on the pegs, I knew Deluxe Brawl was going to be disappointing, but I bought it anyway, don't make the same mistake! As a Deluxe figure, it's everything you can expect: Small, easy to transform, cheap ($10-$12). Problem is, Brawl is supposed to be huge, like way taller than a house, so you can see how this 5-inch version, on-par with Bumblebee, is less than satisfying! I thought maybe the detail on the figure would make-it a cool figure to have on your work-desk at least, and it is, but you can only cram so much detail onto a small figure. If you try to make a 5-inch blue whale, you are definitely going to lose a ton of detail, exactly what happened here with Brawl. Yeah, there are rivets and plates and grooves and stuff, but you can't even see them anyway...[See More]
