Super Powers (Kenner)DeSaad was an interesting villain in the cartoon, and was an interesting figure as well with power shocking action. I remember around 1985 trying to talk my mom into buying it for me at a Heck's Store we had in our town until if folded in 1987. It's now a flea market, but I can walk a few feet from the front door and show you the spot the figures were at pretty close to 25 years ago. They had a huge display within 20 ft. of the front doors and it caught me in my tracks. I stopped there and saw DeSaad and Parademon! I wanted the DeSaad more than the Parademon. I showed it to my mom and I was hoping she would buy it for me. She refused and I once again lost the opportunity to own my first Super Powers figure. Fast forwarding to 2001, I bought one from a company called Main Street Hobbies for around $28.00 on a C-7 card with a dark yellow bubble. DeSaad was a little hard to find carded for a while. I opened my first one and bought a second one earlier this month at a Peddlers Mall in Winchester, Kentucky. It was carded on a third series card!! There was a slight yellow tint to the dented bubble, a lot of creases, and someone had punched a hole in the card where the price sticker is to hang it on a peg. That's what I think it looks like, but the hang tag was still intact. Still, regardless of condition, people are buying these third series carded figures from $25.00 to $35.00. I got mine for $26.50. A second series C-8/9 carded will run $25 to $30.00. A C-8/9 loose/complete figure probably goes for $10.00 to $15.00.
