Minoton 7th Voyage of Sinbad (X-Plus)This was definitely a nostalgia purchase. Back when I was a child ‘Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger’ was one of my favourite films, and I was desperate for a Minoton figure. Minoton was the magical automaton Minotaur henchman of the main antagonist. I only got into collecting figures about a year ago and became aware that this existed. After regular checks I eventually found one at just about affordable price. There’s not much by way of packaging. A clear plastic bag with a label/booklet with images of others in the range. Articulation is minimal, but you get a pivoted head, waist, and arms. There’s also a spear that can be adjusted for height. It’s not much, but is just enough to give you some options to personalise it. To look at most photos it looks almost gold, but in hand it’s more of a copper colour. The sculpt is fantastic. There’s not a lot of detail to work with, but those in the film are all present. No complaints about the body at all. The head is superb, with great detail on the face. This is pure wish fulfilment. Highly recommend searching for one if you’re a fan of the character. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
