Amanaman with Salacious Crumb Star Wars - Power of the Jedi (Kenner)Two characters, one easily known as the annoying little fellow that was Jabbas pet...thing. The other an alien bounty hunter from a race nicknamed "Head Hunters" fro their tendency to keep their victims skulls to adorn their staffs. Both interesting figures that brought back my interest in the Power of the Jedi series. Fans of the SW lines after the 1995 series may agree with me, it only went downhill afterwards. The Power of the Jedi line does little more then re-enforce this. The whole line was remakes except for the Expanded Universe series. This wouldn’t be to bad except for the fact that all of the figures hands were sculpted smaller and their weapons were make smaller and weaker. So small that all the figures from series before couldn’t hold them and were easily broken due to their poor plastic. It was a depressing way to go out since the Clone Wars line was far off. My hope was revived when I saw these guys, Crumb and the Headhunter. The Headhunters the main figure and Crumb a bonus but both are cool. Headhunter comes with two items, a staff and a headless skeleton. Both can fit nicely into the hunters hands. Painting was pretty nice here. Headhunter has a tan belly with a dark green back. His mouth his open in a creepy grim with all his teeth exposed. His eyes are painted red. His staff is a grey color and the skulls are painted tan. The corpse is completely tan. Crumb is like his movie character. Hess all a tannish pink with dark spots on his back. His hair is a darker brown and his beak is black. Hess posed in a smartass-Im-better-then you stance. Movement is kinda poor here but doesn’t hurt the figures to bad. Crumb has no movement, has been crafted as a statute type bonus. The Headhunter only has movement at his shoulders and his wrists. He makes up with this via his base. His legs are actually tentacles which have been sculpted to curl in a circle forming a good base and making him hard to knock over. Two cool figures that renewed my faith the Power of the Jedi series. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
