Write a Review link for that item. Star Wars - Clone Wars (Animated) (Hasbro)Anakin Skywalker, hero of the Republic, gifted pilot and master swordsmen. ALong with his mast, Obi-Wan, he helped destroy the droid armies and protected peace throughout the galaxy, leading his Clone Troopers against the evil of Count Dooku. The Clone Wars series of the SW line was small, really small. There were maybe about 2-3 dozen figures and they all centered around the parts of the Clone Wars that were not in the movies but more in the comics and animated series. Such figures were Anakin, ARC troopers, Hail Fire droids and other animated characters like Durge. If you found many of these figures you were lucky, there weren't many and now they run for quite a sum of money, ARC troopers run about $20 for a 3.75 inch figure with a few guns. I managed to pick up an Anakin figure for cheap and I have to say this is one of the better figures. Anakin stands at 3.75 inches tall and comes with several items. He comes with two gauntlets for his arms, a bandolier, his blue saber and a flight "helmet" which is really more like a mic then a helmet. I can't really compare him to his counterpart, I don't really believe he had one besides the animated version and that wasn't to close to this one. He comes in his brown jedi robs that look like they are swaying in the wind. He wears black books and black gloves that extend to his elbows. His belt is equipped with numerous little tools and are mostly dark colors or gold/silver. His bandolier is dark brown and fits across his chest but it is somewhat difficult to get on and off due to his body sculpt. Both gauntlets are gold while his head mic is gold for the band but black for the mic part. His saber hilt is silver while the blade is blue. One can tell by his sculpt that this series was sent way before Ep3, most likely just after Ep2 since his hair is still short and he still has the Padawan braid. Articulation didn't change here even in this series, he still only supports movement at his head, arms and legs. A cool figure that lets buyers and fans see more into the SW galaxy between the movies. While he is a good figure, he could have been even better had he had more articulation, as such he gets 4.80 out of 5.   by Mr-X |
