Superman - Animated Series (Kenner)Rocketed from a dying world, Kal-El of Krypton was adopted by a kindly couple from Smallville, Kansas who named him Clark Joseph Kent. Raised on a farm, Clark grew instilled with a strong sense of right and wrong and upon discovering his powers and true origin as the last of son of Krypton, dedicated himself to protecting his new home using the secret identity of Superman, the Man of Steel!

When danger arises to threaten Metropolis, Clark Kent changes in the blink of an eye into the might Superman. Apparently he does this by ripping off his legs, upper body and back pack in horrible shower of blood and gore to reveal his super suit underneath.

Superman's head sinks down into his body with little pressure and allows the Clark Kent head and shirt. Then a pair of pants legs are clipped onto his legs, which surprisingly hold tight. Finally, by curling up the cloth cape, you attach a backpack to the Clark Kent disguise via a peg and hole system.

There you have it! A perfect disguise to use around people that absolutely brain dead. Strangely, I think that disguise would work in real life. People are just that stupid.

The disguise limits its movements somewhat, but not enough to inhibit play.

The actual toy has basic articulation with moveable arms, legs and waist. One hand is clutched tightly in a world shattering fist while the other is open handed. The color scheme is the familiar red, blue and yellow that we all know and love. The facial sculpt is passable for what appeared in Superman: The Animated Series.

The legs are bendable and not so stiff that they are brittle, but still durable. The body his hollow to accommodate the head when it is pushed down.

The cape is a basic pull through style and made of soft, slightly rough, cloth.

Over all, this action figure is almost top grade. 4 and a half out of 5.
