The Fellowship has broken. Frodo and Sam have continued on the quest to destroy the ring alone while the rest of the fellowship heads toward the land of Rohan to seek assistance against the growing evil. Along the way, Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas encounter a friend thought loss and learn about what will occur in the approaching future. An army of evil is descending onto the people of Rohan and it is up to them to hold this army off at the great fortress of Helm's Deep.
