I haven't started customizing yet, but I approach figure collecting the same way I approach comic collecting. "low grade is better than no grade."

Basically, if the best I can find for a given figure at a reasonable price is a loose incomplete figure, well then that will have to do. If the difference between a decent open/used figure, with some or all of the accessories and a MOC/MIP figure is $10 for the loose, and $150 for the carded/boxed, I am taking the loose all day long. I would rather have 15 fun loose figures than one "mint" figure for the same money.

I do the same thing with comics. I would rather have a whole run of mid grade readers (because I actually like to read them) than a handful of very high grade books for the same money. ...

I am trying to find a line. I remember seeing them at a small toy store that carried a lot of vintage and/or higher end figures, like 1/4 NECA etc.

I remember seeing two figures in this line, my brain wants to say they were Play Arts Kai, or something similar. Very detailed. The specific figure I remember that would help me track down the line was a Samurai variant of Darkseid from DC.

Does anyone else have any recollection of this line?

Hello! I have 2 signed, still in their original packaging, Disney Heroes action figures: Hercules and Prince Phillip (black armor). Each box is *autographed* by the designer, Rubén Procopio! Boxes have some wear: scuffs and cardboard backing slightly warped.

For the head, to be sure the scale is right for ya, you could in-person check out a fox figurine like you'd see at a novelty store, Hobby Lobby, or a zoo gift shop. Might even catch one at a Walmart or a drug store toy section if lucky. Then if you wanted to you could cut the head off of it and put a little bit of sculpt in it to fit on your Wolfsbane fig's neck.

The tail could be made by trimming one of those white fox tails people use in cosplay or a white tail key chain. Typed in "White fox tail 6 inch" on Amazon and some stuff came up. Some have a wire in it and can be posed. Now if you would prefer it more formed than fur you could search for "squirrel figure" that's around 6 inches on Amazon and then just saw off the tail to paint it and attach to your Alopex custom.

Hey everyone, I'm somewhat new to the figure modding hobby(been doing some light stuff for ages, but trying to get into more advanced fully custom stuff lately), and I recently acquired a random box of parts to mess with, and one thing in the box was a torso that's had the shoulder joint holes completely drilled out. It's an odd thing to see, as it would seem to make the torso useless, but I was wondering if there's a way to fill it back in and create some new joints to which arms could be attached? A certain type of clay that isn't very sticky, perhaps? Or should I just follow my first instinct and pitch this part into the recycling bin?...[See More]
