thejuggernautI'm the Juggernaut, [BLEEP]!
Well, actually, I am.
"Cain Marko is the step-brother of Charles Xavier, the leader of the X-men.
While serving in Vietnam, Marko, out of cowardliness, hid in a cave where he discovered the Gem Of Cyttorak. As soon as he touched it, he became a human Juggernaut, with arms as wide as an oak tree's trunk. The cave collapsed, leaving Marko for dead...
..Or so we thought."
That's the comic origin, in the movie, it didn't really explain his origin, just passed him off as a mutant to save time.
This figure is a giant. He's one of the bigger ones that Hasbro put out, among with Thor, Planet Hulk, and Hercules. Put him beside the Toybiz Juggernaut, he looks nothing more than 6".
The sculpt on him looks really, kind of simple from far away, but when you look at...[

HobgoblinAmazing Spider-Man (Toy Biz) - Series 2

Henchmen4HireLooks like someone purposely decided to make slight annoying "mistakes", yet again. I'll get these out of the way before I rant about them in the main review. :) Hobgoblin comes with a cool metallic-lavender glider that attaches to a rolling smoke-base (to simulate gliding). The smoke trail on the glider can swivel around. Hobs comes with a (removable) plastic-leather purple pumpkin-bomb bag, but nothing fits inside it! Why have a bag if you can't use it! He also comes with a pumpkin-bomb, but it is sculpted onto the palm of his left hand. Why would they do that!? The good part is that you can twist it off with little to no damage to his hand. The most annoying thing (to me anyway) about Hobs is that his legs are too long. It's not like they're too long by just a millimeter, they are...[

PsylockeMarvel Legends (Toy Biz) - Series 14 - Mojo Series

Henchmen4HireI really hate getting my hopes up with new Marvel Legends figures because they keep letting everyone down with useless and incomprehensible modifications to what could otherwise be perfect figure. Psylocke: perfect example. Not only is she short (even though she's supposed to be 6 feet tall, same height as almost everyone else) but her fingers and boot-tips aren't hinged. I can ignore the boot-hinges but why mess with the fingers? I'm glad the sculptors are making new and improved hand poses but please, keep the articulation! These guys managed to give Shadowcat's tiny hands a finger-hinge, and made it look good, so I'm sure they could have made Psylocke's hands articulated. Also, the hips are ball-sockets. Usually these types of hips have an ugly, or at the very least a "unique" sculpt,...[

Faramir (Sword Weilding)Lord of the Rings - Two Towers (Toy Biz) - Series 1
Rated

Mr-XThe younger brother of Boromir and supposed heir to the throne of Gondor, Faramir was a skilled warrior.
As most basic LOTR figures, Faramir stands at about 6 inches. He bears two weapons, a sword with sheath and a longbow with quiver and several arrows. He also has a special feature, a lever on his back, when pulled this lever causes him to swing his right arm up and down, allowing for sword swining action. Sadly, Faramir is one of those figures whose head looks very little like its movie counterpart. His head looks dumb, like hes lost. His hair is also the wrong color, its to dark while in the movie he had more blonde. The other bad thing is his sword. It comes in his right hand, prepacked. This is a bad thing because his right hand is like a rock, you CANNOT move the thing and the way...[

wyLunOK, so I justgot the new Dark Knight figure.. much to talk about
first of all.. this figure IS, 6 inch scale! and not 5 inch, which means bette POA!!!
much more like the DC universe figures.. all the same articulations.
however, when I stand them up w/ the restof the figures, it may seem alittle smaller like the Hasbro Ironman Line.. however he is bulky and buff like the regular 6 inch figures.
if anything, it is more in scale in life because if you think about it this way, Superman and Capt America are like 6'2 220lbs... CHRISTIAN BALE as batman is like.. 6'0 200lbs? then these figures look the right size then! lol. thats how I see it and it gets me through...
the figure is extreeemeelly detailed, the batsuit looks awesome.. the new batman movie is going to be awesome.

Ryu HayabusaNinja Gaiden II (Neca) - Basic Series

Collector1From the famed video game series "Ninja Gaiden", Neca brings to life the Ninja Warrior Ryu Hayabusa like never before with thirty-three points of articulation, a stelar sculpt, beautiful paint applications and a really bad left hand and right socket. Not to say that this is a bad toy, it isn't, there is just a few quality control issuse that should have been worked out.
Ryu is seven inches tall and, unlike previous Player Select toys like the Gears of War and Bionic Commando figures, puts more focus on articulation and not detail to show off his flexibility and ninja skill I guess. Ryu has obvious ball jointed hips and ab-crunch as well as double hinged elbows. Other, less obvious, articulation include hinged toes, a swivel waits, a ball socket head and swivel neck-base, swivel biceps,...[

Henchmen4HireWhat? Plastic Batman Reincarnation No.47,834? Great...
At first glance, hurrah, it's just another Batman, but with the 6-inch-scale-craze Marvel started, this Batman deserves another look, even though lots of other 6-inch Batmen have been made, and even if only as fodder for your next custom. :)
This newest Batman stands about 6 1/2 inches, and it is a fine addition to your army of Batmen. He wears the classic grey and blue colors with the new bat-symbol engraved on his chest (I think this blue/grey suit looks strange without the original yellow symbol though). The detail is outstanding. Stitches, wrinkles, and shading abound. The head alone is something to be proud of. The white eyes stand out against the darker shading, the mask is well-sculpted, and the ears are just the right...[

Venom (Stealth)Amazing Spider-Man (Toy Biz) - Series 3

VariablePenguinThis has to be the strangest thing I've ever seen. It is just the symbiote blast Venom made from clear smokey plastic and given some highlights in black paint. It is the exact same figure with the exact same problems and features of the previous one. Well, they did paint the parts on his wrists, but black instead of white to go with the black symbol on his chest. I don't particularly remember ever seeing a clear Venom in the comics, but whatever.
It reminds me of all of the variant Metal Gear Solid figures that came out of everyone in stealth camouflage.
Basically, ToyBiz just poured some clear plastic into their molds, slapped on some black paint in spots and repackaged the thing....[

Mr-X*sigh* Yet another repacked figure, will it ever end? I doubt it...
The Moria Orc, originally released for the first movies wave packaged with Merry and Pipin, here now by himself. Good or bad, you decide. He comes with two things, a cool looking helmet and that pointy stick they call a sword. No lever functions for once. Face turned out pretty good, looks like one angry goblin.
I liked this paintjob, it looked well for this guy. His armor is a combo of red, grey and black with all the seeable skin being a greenish/pale color. Sword and helmet are also black.
Movement was a bit hindered here at only the head, shoulders, elbows, wrists and thighs. The lack of leg movement keeps him stuck in a squatting pose.
One of the better looking Orcs but the lack of major leg movement is annoying...[

Buzzy_FretHawkman / Carter Hall / Katar Hol; Superhero, Reincarnated Egyptian Pharoah, Thanagarian Cop, Archaeologist and Tough Guy. Now offered in molded plastic for the DC Direct Action Figure series Supeman/Batman: Public Enemies. I can't tell if Hawky here is from series 2 or series 3 as the package has both "Public Enemies 2" and "Series 3" printed on it.
<img class="rightfloat" src="Galleries/dcdirect/Hawkman2-FA2.jpg">
Hawkman stands about 7 and 3/4 inches tall from his feet to the top of his helmet and almost 9 inches if you measure up to the top of his wings. Like most DC Direct figures Hawky is great looking but lacking in articulation. I counted 13 points of articulation (that includes the ball joints for the wings). No articulation at the waist at all. The sculpt job is great and the...[

See in my pic, that he''s bigger than X3 beast, but not as big as comic juggernaut?
Because comic juggernaut is supposed to make other figures look like dwarfs.
