Henchmen4HireThe only character more popular, more loved, more idolized than our friendly neighborhood Spiderman is none other than the Black-Suit Spiderman! Okay, it's the same guy so that doesn't count, but since it is the same guy, that just goes to show how much everyone around the world loves Spiderman. It was only a matter of time before this Spidey was made a Legend but interestingly, he was made in a series of his own, Spiderman Classics (SMC), not with the Marvel Legends series. I think he was also made as a Marvel Selects release, and maybe even in some other line as well, so good luck finding them all!
There isn't much to say detail-wise, but I'll try to elaborate! Black-Suit Spiderman stands 5.85 inches, and since he's supposed to be smaller than your average hero, he is perfectly...[

Mr-XThe two most brutal creatures have begun the war...
I?m talking about the Aliens and the Predators here. These two figures are pretty good for Hasbro 90's figures, stuff from them and then are usually...odd. The pack comes with one Warrior Alien, one Predator and a small comic story. Both figures are pretty cool and the comic is actually good for just a small extra. On to the figures...
The Alien is about 4 inches tall and is a solid flat black with a semi-translucent purple for the top of the head. The only spot not black is a pair of buckteeth type things that are supposed to be teeth I guess and are painted silver. For a small guy, he?s actually quite moveable, supporting articulation at both thighs/waist, at the tail where it meets the body, at both shoulders and at the head.

Henchmen4HireGood ol' Hank, the smartest man in the world, when his skin turned blue, and hair did too, for a cure his mind drew blank. That's right, I rhymed. I've been waiting to get a Beast since he was given the ML treatment. The old 5-inch one was great but I like this one so much more. I've read a few other reviews on him and they weren't very glowing, I wonder why. He looks like he's supposed to and is the perfect height, so what's the problem? Did I just get the one perfectly crafted figure? Heh.
Beast stands intently at about 6.5 inches tall. I was wondering how well the sculptors were going to show the hair on his body, and it looks good! The majorly hairy-spots (like at the elbows) have heavily-sculpted hair while the rest of the body has a fine "hair-pattern", it works well. The muscles...[

Mr-XBoba Fett, the galaxy's most infamous but honorable, cruel but human bounty hunter
As a figure from the 1995 Star Wars:Power of the Force line, Boba set some nice standards. Standing at about 3.75 inches, he left a big mark on the series. He comes with several accessories, his laser rifle, a wookie pelt and a removable jetpack. The blaster is a very close replica that fits nicely into either of Boba's hands without much trouble and doesn’t fall out easily. The wookie pelts are cool to. The act kinda like a scarf and fit around Boba’s neck, hanging off to his right but not obstructing any movement. They are semi-moveable allowing them to bend for a little bit of posing. The jetpack, which could have made or broken the figure with how it fit on, is quite good. Its an exact replica of its...[

A-TeamA-Team (Galoob) - 3 3/4" Scale - 4-Packs

RonnsteinI bought this set after Christmas of 1985 with the money I had collected as gifts from relatives. Back then the A-Team was one of the most popular foreign shows in television where I live (Philippines). These were the first figures I bought that had multiple articulation - swivel arms, elbow and knee joints, etc. - before coming across my very first GI Joe figures several months afterwards. The articulation of these figures was the main factor in my purchase, with the novelty of the television show coming in at close second.
The overall quality of these toys is the reason for the rather mediocre rating. Their thumbs snapped off rather easily after a few weeks of normal play (I remember one snapping off after accidentally dropping off from the cabinet to the tiled floor), and joints...[

BulkheadTransformers - Energon (Hasbro) - Ultra Class

Henchmen4HireDon't crucify me die-hard TF fans, but I'm not too sure what size an "Ultra-Class" Transformer is supposed to be, but it looks slightly larger than a Voyager-Class, which is what I'm familiar with. The point is, no matter what size our friend Bulkhead is, he's a top-class figure.
Bulkhead stands about 7.5 inches tall, which is a pretty good size for the originally $25 retail price. Size alone isn't why I bought this guy though, despite being called BULK-head, he's not too bulky at all. I like a TF that can actually move and be posed well because it's not restricted by huge battery-packs or "action features". Also, he's wearing a visor and he has a sweet mustache! What's not to love! I also like how the Autobot symbol is boldly displayed on his chest, like hey, I'm an Autobot, you got a...[

Donna TroyWonder Woman (DC Direct) - Series 1

Henchmen4HireImpulse buying is always fun, and I rarely regret doing it, Donna here is a perfect example why. She's gorgeous! I'm not going to pretend I knew who she was, I've only read 2 comics from the current Wonder Woman series and one of them had giant talking albino monkeys with laser-guns, so I dropped that acid trip pretty fast. This figure is worth getting no matter what you do or don't read. It's impressive, plain and simple, it stands-out on the pegs among the dozens of Batmans, she's like the cool chick at a party and you know you'll regret it the rest of your life if you don't pick her up.
Donna stands about 6.5 inches, the lush voluminous hair pushes her height to 7 inches (I don't count hair as height by the way). She is cosmetically flawless; absolutely no blotchy-paint, very light...[

wyLunFinally I got my hands on the new MOnger figure.... first off. totally better than the first piece of %#&*!!!!
this one sports a better paint job over all.. w/ silver instead of that dark ugly gray
NO MORE PUNCHING ACTION!!! we are gifted with a great plain figure that has a removeable cockpit!
the figure has about 18 POA to my count.. just enough. the LEGS ACTUALLY MOVE!!! at the hip with a ball like joint.. everything basically the same to any other Hasbro figures POA except... no head movement at all on the robot head... iunno why. just probably too lazy to do it w/ the whole thing coming off nd what not..
the cockpit comes in two parts with the chest and the head that snap on to the back and front w/ a hing like movement so it can come up and down. and the two parts connected...[

Collector1For a long while, I mostly avoided the now defunct Amazing Spider-Man toyline due to the packaging which really turned me off to them. Eventually, I broke down and bought the Super-Strenght Spider-Man and was suprisingly happy with the over all figure.
The toy stands at about six inches and has twenty-one points of articulation. Typical of most Spider-Men action figures, his middle and forefingers are hinged to allow you to make the web-shooting gesture. The wrists, ankles, toes, and abs are all hinges. The head, shoulders, and hips are all swivel hinges. Waist, forearms, and calves are plain swivels. The knees and elbows are double hinges. All the joints are tight, but not restricting. The joints seem to be made of softer plastic, so be gentle with it when possing or in play as not to...[

Sabretooth (Snarl & Swipe Action)X-Men (Toy Biz) - Series 5

necornautThis is the second sabretooth released for the X-men line, personally I like this version better. This figure comes with a snarl and swipe action that is fun, his mouth opens when you squeeze his legs, and his arms move a bit. The figure itself in articulation is lacking and only has 4 POA, because of the action feature. Although he's not the most positionable figure he is still worth at least checking out. The paint on this figure is good, and he was in his current costume at the time, the all over style of this figure is worth getting over the first release. Although this is not his last release of the sabretooth figures this one is in my opinion the best. His sculpt on the costume I really liked, between the muscles, the detail in the fur, or how his hands are positioned. Overall I'd...[
