Hi. I am very unsavvy when it comes to the world of customs, so I need some help. I need to find someone who takes commissions who is in the same league as LooseCollector. I have been having a series of figures, from the same superhero team, made by him. He is now making my sixth figure. But he has just announced that he will no longer be accepting commissions, so I am stuck in limbo. I can't have half my team looking as incredible as he makes them and then entrust the rest of them to just anyone. Can you recommend someone who is up to his standards who would accept an ongoing series of commissions? Thanks a lot!
OK, so let me put it this way since I can't get any suggestions this way. Who are the BEST customizers currently posting to Figure Realm? I'll check them out and test the waters myself.
Thanks Red, but any time I see "can you make it as good as this other person/team does" I know I'll never live up to expectations. (Maybe if they showed us their process we could learn a thing or two.)
Plus, I'm sick of making spandex super hero customs.
@2manydvds While we have you here, can you elaborate on how durable the customs you got have been? We all know LC customs look good, and their PR person never lets us forget it, it would be good to hear first-hand experience with how well they handle paint-rub at the joints, do the figures look as good in person as the beauty shots, etc.
I always ask because there's dishearteningly little communication nowadays, even among small communities like this one.
@Henchmen4hire - I'm happy with them. The paint IS a bit on the delicate side, so they don't stand up to tons of re-posing, but they look every bit as beautiful in person as online. As far as finding a replacement artist, I do not expect them to look exactly like Loosecollector's, but I do expect a certain level of quality. I guess I'll know it when I see it. If you aren't interested can you point me toward someone who would be? I'm really distressed right now. I had such plans. After having all of Infinity Inc. made I was gonna move on to their villains, then Batman and the Outsiders, the Detroit-era Justice League and then some random one-offs like Dr. Destiny, 70's era Zatanna, and on and on. I have TONS of continuous work for the right person.

Thanks for the info, I think it's encouraging for new customizers to know that.
