Marvel Legends Planet Hulk Repaint

Marvel Legends Planet Hulk Repaint

Custom WorkstationI dis-assembled all the joints on a marvel legends plant hulk figure to grind them down a bit. Is it easier to Re-assemble then lay down black base paint....or black base paint individual pieces before assembling again? Basically... Will the new paint withstand the heat it takes to re-assemble the joints?.

Please wait...

Action Figures on eBay
•I like painting before assembling, makes it easier to paint every area and protect the usual places with super glue. However, I have to be careful reassembling the figure so I don't accidentally scrape something.
•If reassembling swivels or ball-sockets (arms, legs, neck, etc), try using a pipette to squirt boiling water into the hole area. Squirt and replace the water every few seconds to keep it heating up until it's soft. Then just pop the peg in there. This lets you soften up the hole without needing to get the paint wet (if you're neat about it anyway).
Also, it usually helps to thin the peg a little, so it requires less force to pop back in, reducing the chance that you may scrape something from applying too much pressure.
