Working on some 4" Exosquad variations. It's nice that i can just work on these when the mood strikes me. it's been helping a little dealing with the most profound loss i ever imagined i might suffer.
All Advice, critiques, attaboys, all are welcome.
Thanks for the head-knocking on getting the photos to embed!!
Oh man- this is an insane project! They look so cool already- While I didn't watch much of this show( cuz they aired on Sundays before church, lol) I have fond memories of it. I'm glad you're occupying yourself with this hobby during this time. Be blessed.
oh yeah, this project is so nice...clean sculptings! when I look at all of these pics including the diorama piece I really can't wait to see the end result! cool work, man.
no,you mean mixing the paste itselves? I was always wondering about mixing paint directly into, but never tried^^ I nearly finished my still first apoxie after years now and think about giving milliput a try now, cause I can simply get it at a local shop...any experience with this? I've been told it's the same as green stuff.so my question: does green stuff stick exactly as good to the plastic as aves apoxie do?
No, I mean using both mediums on one figure. I haven't used miliput, but I like green stuff for the bulkier sculpt and for areas that may flex, like legs. It's sticks perfectly, but doesn't take detail as well as apoxie, so I use them interchangeably
cool, thanks for that.I'll give it a try.seems like I have to get new sculpting stuff after I finished ganondorf for my current room mate.after that I have to do a commission for a great customizer if he's still interested and a captain planet for myself.I moved to another city and getting back into customizing slowly after months of break
I looked through your shots and they are awesome !!! So sorry for your loss !!! I know the power of getting lost in your projects and the therapy that this hobby can be !!! Keep up the inspired work !!!!!
Thanks Edgy, I'm glad I got turned on to the 4" blanks out there, they've made it so I can actually afford this hobby. ML and other good 6" fodder is just too expensive now.
On Imgur, you can just right click the picture and Copy Image Location. Paste that, it's the direct link. It's the same as the BBC/Forum link just without the IMG tags around it.
That did it, but I had to remeber to resize them too, I'm not the best when it comes ti shared media. I don't have a Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, none of it.
