Marvel Legends - create custom parts in ZBrush?

Posted in Custom Workstation

Hello all! Has anyone heard of or seen a workflow for creating custom parts in ZBrush for 3D printing? I was thinking I could measure out my base figure's major proportions (chest, waist, arm width, etc.) with digital calipers, take reference photos and do an approximate sculpt in ZBrush using those then fit the parts I'd like to make to that and print them.
Am I making this more difficult than it needs to be? I wish there was a buck body 3D model out there for this stuff. If I come up with a good one that's useful I'll make it available.
