Hello realmers! I'm fairly new to Figure Realm and forums altogether, so I don't even know if I'm posting this in the right place. My question is whether I can leave my Instagram @ when submitting customs, as I remember guidelines said you couldn't promote yourself or something along those lines. I appreciate responses!
I remember that rule too but rarely saw it enforced, I was probably the only one doing it. Stuff like telling people to stop "watermarking" their pictures with all their contact info, etc.
I stopped caring eventually.
The Custom Showcase is supposed to be exactly that, like an art gallery that focuses on the figures, where people can also interact with the customizers via comments. Having a bunch of self-promotion and youtube links on the same page and whatever cheapens that I think. You can put all that stuff in your profile though.
However, as anyone who's been here as long as I have can tell you, the site does need an overhaul to bring it up to modern standards. So many features need to be added.
Yeah, I think that's a reason why the rule was made, to encourage you to buy one of the Ad Packages to add more pics and even link to your auctions, store, website, etc. https://www.figurerealm.com/help#2-52
