I'm hereby petitioning the owner of this site to create a new sub-forum for missing figures. This way dialog can be exchanged specifically regarding missing figures from this website. It seems that the official missing checklist form is getting routinely ignored by the site owner and he's choosing to cherry pick what he adds these days. At least with a sub-forum dedicated to the topic, users can browse the various topics about various missing figures regardless of whether the owner decides to add them or not. Does anyone else think this is a good idea? It seems that the owner was pretty diligent a year or so ago about adding new requests, but for whatever reason seems to ignore most requests these days. At least with a new forum the word could still get out about fresh new figure series.
I would definitely support this. I'm a new user to this site, and my use of it has been to catalogue what I have and what I want, which has been somewhat frustrating since I frequently come across things I have that are not represented in the checklists here, meaning there are probably more things I don't have but want which similarly are not represented. While this site has been an incredibly good resource, it could still stand for some improvement, and this proposal here for a dedicated missing figures forum to collaborate on what is not currently represented by the checklists would be good.
The owner no longer responds to that email address or new checklist requests. He even is deleting forum topics about missing figures. Go figure (pun intended). Ask him yourself.

This is a perfect example of many items that are missing from this site, and for whatever reason the owner has decided to scale back on many of the figure series he includes, even clearly mainstream and legit items. This was the purpose of the forum request to include these missing items for other collectors who have these items or who would like to find out about them and pursue them. I really don't know how the owner of the site used the help of another expert to build his checklists to a large amount from 2019-2022 and then kicked that expert to the curb without explanation.
I think this is a good idea since Action Figure Chatter is used for any type of action figure discussion, so cluttering up that forum with missing figure series would not make sense. A dedicated "missing link" type of forum would be beneficial to members as well as the owner should he decide to add anything discussed there.
