To Articulate or Not to Articulate

To Articulate or Not to Articulate

Action Figure ChatterWhats up guys! Searched around and didn't find anything on this exactly.
I was just wondering where you stand on articulation. Do you prefer your figures to be articulated or statue like?
Recently I decided on only articulated figures for the pose ability but really like some barely articulated figures just find it harder to pull the trigger and shell out the cash for something I can't really play with.
Also what's with Spawn figures? I find some really nicely articulated figures then almost statues in the same series...

Please wait...

Yeah, McFarlane Toys' main focus is to, as Mr. McFarlane himself has said "get it right." As in, he wants to make sure his figures look incredible, which they do. Also, bear in mind the figures of when McFarlane toys was first starting. They didn't look so proffessional and life-like as they do today. McFarlane toys really revolutionized the toy making business by making figures that looked outstanding. I think they started to realize some collectors are in love with articulation, so they've started to articulate some figures.
