I used Sculpt it by sargent art,Parts are falling off

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

This is my first time trying to Sculpt. So I went to Hobby Lobby and picked up Sculpt it. I follow the instruction from the tutorial on this sight. When I woke up this morning .Some of the pieces I placed on my figure chest had fallen off. So was I supposed to add water to make it stick? Or should I just use glue after the parts harden up. If so what type of glue? In the future I will order the Apoxie Sculpt. But right now I have a big tub of this stuff .Also if I use a glue to put the pieces I made last night back on .What glue would let me sand them smooth .Any help would be appreciated ,Thanks

From my experience that stuff is pretty terrible no matter how you use it.

Like you, it was the first product I bought when I decided to try sculpting. I did manage to use up my whole supply on a brick wall background which ended up warping over time, but I'll never buy it again.

I switched to Aves Apoxie Fixit Sculpt and so far I couldn't be happier. It's extremely easy to use. A little pricey, maybe, but entirely worth it.
