Anyone springing for the S.H. Figuarts Power Rangers?

Sounds like it's worth a laugh. They should totally get one of the American actors, like Jason David Frank to do an episode.

*sigh* its a little complicated. They come from a series called unofficial akibaranger. Its bassicly a series where these three super fans gain whats called delisional powers and there weapon is a character from their favorite anime. Sometimes they will gain assistance from other sentei rangers or accidently change history. One episode they changed history so that ryuranger (character from a season we never got called dairanger) became a mascot for some delivery company and called himself China Man. I don't remember the episode that had the "powerful" ranger forms too well but I think they were kinda jokes on americas Power Rangers over Sentei. Akibaranger is actually pretty funny and little more geared towards teens through young adults. So yeah its worth checkin out. Some of it is hard to get if you don't watch sentei (I don't) bu they do a decent job of making it accesible to all.

Oh! is that what those odd accessories are about? I though it was some kind of weird, nationalistic fan-service thing or something.

I have a passing knowledge of Sentai, but have never heard of this satire before. Are the sentai with the red, white, and blue supposed to be spoofs on the American Power Rangers?

yeah you can get them in to some epic poses and amazingly enough they stand fine without bases which is a little rare for a lot of the Japanese toys I get. They are also releasing a white ranger figure. I don't know if you keep up with the Japanese sentei shows but the Japanese release of the figures (some not all) come with bonus pieces exclusive to a new satire power rangers they have over there. The piece that comes with the Green and Red ranger was so funny it ALMOST made me double dip

Oh, I believe it. I've been anticipating them for a while, and the youtube reviews make them look awesome. Withe right pose they almost look like the real thing from what I've seen.

I already have Red and Green and let me tell you something buddy. They are worth every red penny for the sheer quality of them. They are sooooo possible and come with so many accessories that I think 40$ is a an easy price to pay. I have been collecting figuarts for a few months now and have a few different rangers from newer seasons and everyone of the is amazing.
