Batman's Base Figure

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

Hi Guys!
So I created this account mostly to ask you guys for some advice. I've been wanting to make a perfect Batman figure for a while now but I can't seem to find the right base figure. I don't want to spend too much and only want to use one figure (a Marvel Legends/6 inch scale). I was thinking of the Marvel Legends Bullseye but 1.his face doesn't look they way I imagine batman to have 2. Just a little on the skinny side and 3. I heard this mold has been used multiple times but I can't find any other figures that have it.

Can somebody please suggest a figure with the most amount of articulation (peck joints and ankle pivot included) that would be a good base mold for Batman? It would be extremely helpful and appreciated.
Thank you!

PS Sorry if I did anything wrong, this is my first post.

Really depends on how much sculpt and sanding you are looking to do but, off the top of my head, I believe Moon Knight and Captain Marvel/ Genis-Vell used the similar bodies.

Here is a great sight to see all the Marvel Legends:

If you are going to use sculpt, the new blank male bodies are pretty good to start from like Cyclops from the Puck series or Black Panther from the Rocket Raccoon series.

Another idea, to keep the cost down, is to visit some customs sites that have parts request threads. There is enough customizers that might have specific parts that you can buy off of them instead of buying the whole figures. I have about a million left over Batman parts from all the Batmans I have made over the years.

Good luck!

This Electro base from the Spidey Infinite line is very versatile but I think it makes an excellent Batman. It has armor elements very reminiscent of the New 52 Bats and Arkham origins Bats. JeddtheJedi did an incredible job and I might "borrow" this for my own Batman custom. And the best part... because he is a fairly recent ML figure he is fairly inexpensive. If you are willing to scout and pounce on Ebay, you might be able to get him loose for around 10 bucks shipped.
