Beta Ray Bill Variant???

I have both BRays and they are different plastic one is a gold butterscotch and the other is a bit more brown. Its not so much a variant as they changed colors in the production because its the plastics color not a paint. I like the darker one myself but I am painting it darker still as it is still to light to be the character.

My Beta Rays got some kinda Goldy Butter scoitch skin on it

I wonder why no one has tried to sell the grey "variant" for triple the price yet

I have both Beta Ray Bill figs. Well, I got an early version for myself with the light tan / greyish tone, and the one I bought my son was the more yellow. I like mine better. I don't think either one is exactly how ToyBiz wanted it, I think I remember ToyBiz saying the factory had a tough time matching the paint to their master.

Yeah same here. I plan to put a wash on mine. His skin is too bright plus it will bring out the texture like the old Beta Ray fig..

I think there was a run where the plastic for his skin was a little more gold than tan. saw some guy on ebay trying to pass it off as a variant.

I saw a thorbuster iron man in TRU with crossed eyes. I should've grabbed it to put up on ebay as the off the wagon tony stark variant.

Most likely it's not really a variant, but just a crappier paint job using too much of a wash.
