Spider-Man 3 figures at my local Wal-Mart

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

Just letting y'all know that the local Wal-Mart here in Indiana has all of the new spidey figures, some are cool but some really don't cut it for me cause they went back to the little figures.
I got the Rhino and not too happy cause his head won't stay up and his legs are in a permanent crouch so he's small when posed....wasted $7 I tell ya.
Anyhoo, just wanted to let ya know this.
If u see them lemme know what you guys/girls think.

You really can't say it's in the 6" scale if it's bigger then 6". If you say it's 6" scale you get 6" to 1', I deal with architectural plans all the time a work, besides most of the Wolverine figs blow the whole 1:12 scale thing out of the water...he's 5'3" not 6". You're obsessing over something that isn't even all that accurate to begin with.

I generally agree with you about the wolvie issue however the brown one and the astonishing costumes are right. By the way wolvies Height has changed more than storms hair doos. he was originally 5'2" then somewhere in 1978-1980 he apparently grew an inch be cause he was said to be 5'3" then about the time magneto sucked the adamantium out of him or due to it I don't understand it he grew to a whopping 6'7'" but due to sever back curving in that feral time he was all of 5'5" Afterwords it is mentioned he was 5'6" to 5'8" barely needing to bend his head up to look cycs in the eye. And in Ult Wolvie stands at somewhere between5'8" to 6'2" So I'll let the wolvie issue go most the time hes hunched over 90% of the time so his actual Height may vary by his ability to stand upright. Or maybe the artist who draw him have no concept of height.

Yes but they are both still in the 6 inch scale they just happen to be bigger characters. which means they remembered that some of us care about that. the scale is actually 1:12 as in 1 inch is = to 12 inches in the real world so 6 inches = 6 feet thor and she hulk are taller than that because they both come in just about 7 feet tall.

It looks like the scale will vary, the new She Hulk is to scale at close to 7" and so is the new Thor.

Marvel Select should stay the same because Marvel still produces them, tho the upcoming Brood/Skrull two pack will be ML size due to the fact that they were supposed to be released as ML troop builders.

but the MLs will stay the same, right??

and if every scale changes, at least Marvel Select will bump down to ML scale, right?

You mean to tell me that the new FF figures will be in the same size?
Man, just when they were all the right size for customizing they gotta go and pull this crap!
First McFarlane removes the articulation from his figures, then Marvel Legends moves to Hasbro and now all of the Marvel-related figures become Star Wars-sized...no offense intended to any SW fans.....this is about enough to piss off the pope.

Yep, I saw 'em at a Wal-Mart too. Not too impressed with 'em and depressed that the new FF stuff will probably be just as bad.

Oh well, will just concentrate on the Hasbro ML line.

Glad I am not the only one with complaints about them, although the New Goblin (could that name suck even more?) has some possibilites for customizing I will ponder on later.

Iknow I am disappointed with entire 5 inch line marvelous sculpting terrible scale and posability even with the limited articulation.
