Kaiyodo Ultimate Spider-Man Figures

Hey dudes. I was searching for small-scale articulated figures to use as custom-fodder when I stumbled across these little beauties.

They are made by Kaiyodo, a Japanese company that makes the Revoltech figures, as well as a ton of gashapon trading figures. IMHO, the sculpting and paint application on these things is outstanding; they are very faithful to the look of the Ultimate Spider-Man comic.

There are 5 different figures available- Spidey in his black costume, Ultimate Venom, Ultimate Green Goblin, and 2 versions of Spidey in his traditional red and blue outfit.

The articulation is fairly decent. Since the figures are so small, the producers didn't even try to use the Marvel Legends style joints. Instead, the figures are cut at strategic locations at angles that make a wide variety of poses available.

Let me stress, these things are SMALL. They average about 7cm, or just under 3 inches tall. When you take the small size into consideration, I think that the attention to detail is amazing.
