Got my first actual glimpse of these at Wal-Mart last night. Have been checking multiple WM's regularly with no luck, not even any peg space or them. Yesterday they had 4 of the 8 - Heroes Reborn Iron Man, Ultimate War Machine, Scarlet Spider and Human Torch. The weird thing was they were hanging over by the Dragon Ball Z and Bakugan figures and were nowhere near the other Marvel Toys. And of course the 3 I wanted most weren't there - no Guardian, no Kang and no Crossbones.

yea thats the dowmside of the new mls, you can't find them anywhere in the uk (maybe even europe) and if you do you'd have to buy them at double the usual price

I get them from Amazon pal, but they are 20 quidn each!!!

How much are the Ares ML's selling for at WM?
Iwent in the other day and didn't find any, But there was 4 new (EMPTY) pegs in the nearly non existent marvel section with gibberish as the description, and a 10.98 price.

I saw this whole series tonight except for the Human Torch. I picked up the Iron Man, he looks pretty cool (needs a paint job though). I just wasn't impressed that much with the rest of the series. I talked myself out of getting Crossbones, he had some cool looking arms, but the rest of him looked pretty dull and simply disproportionate. It seems that Marvel is trying to capitalize on this Build a Figure marketing scheme...8 FIGURES TO COMPLETE THE BAF ARES?!! Let's see, at about $11.00 a pop, that would add up to at least upwards of $90.00 (tax included) for the whole series. I'm sorry, but that's just WAY too much especially considering the selection of characters (and the poor quality of them) you have to buy to complete it. Does Hasbro have a clue about the economy being in the $#!++er? I sure do miss the Toybiz Marvel Legends...Oh, well, Hasbro's mismanagement of the Marvel Legends line makes it all the more easier to save and conserve money in these hard economic times. I no longer go searching for their figures, but if I come across one that I think they have actually done a pretty good job on, or one that has a part that I absolutely must have...well, I'll buy it. But these days, I'm way more interested in tracking down the DCUC series. Mattel is at least keeping the lines simpler (only 5 figures to complete a BAF), it is cheaper to collect them all and perhaps more economical for the future considering the omen of Hasbro's price hike on the "Red Hulk" series. Furthermore, there is more consistency in the overall series and goshdarnit!...I just really like the way they look! HASBRO, YOU SUCK!...well, with very few exceptions at least.

What, you didn't hear, the next wave will be the Iron Man legends, all diffrent Iron Men and an Iron man BAF- Then its Wolverine, all Diffrent costumes and the BAF is Scuba Wolvie

I agree, enough is enough- Wheres the 90s Jean Grey, Darkhawk, Thunderstrike, or modern Luke Cage?

Finally gonna have me a Kang........

I think Ares looks good, Crossbones is vital ...but ANOTHER Torch and Iron man?????? Jeez!!

You think the next wave might be spiderman, hulk, wolverine, thing, captain america, wolverine, wolverin, hulk, torch, hulk and special edition tiny blue stripe on arm instead of yellow stripe variant wolverine?

What about Chameleon, Gladiator, Snowbird, Molten man, Blacklash, Crimson Dynamo, Lliandra, Winter Soldier, Shatterstar, Speedball, Silver Sable.....and a Bi Beast BAF!!!!

AAAAAGGGH!!!!!!!!

I went into my local Wal-Mart yesterday morning and found all of the series on the shelf except for the vision, they all look good but the Ares is kinda...well, eh.
Crossbones is way cool, I bought both of them that they had, one for the shelf and one for custom, I thought he had an old style peg head on like the old ML but turns out it just has that ball kind that the Star Wars figures have now...you do know what I'm talking about right? LOL
Anyhoo, the Iron Man and the Human Torch look good, Kang has never been represented better but the Ben Reilly Spidey's hands are way too little for the figure....hafta get one and fix that soon.
Good Hunting all.
