DCUC WAVE 5

I was snagging people DCUC 5 all through christas as all 3 of my walmarts were stocking them. Right now its a sea of riddlers but I recently picked up another Eradicator!

I scored a Black Lightning today, and I passed on an Atom because it didn't even have the Metallo BAF part in the packaging. Upon closer inspection, Atom's logo was off center on his forhead as well. Black Lightning looks pretty cool, but I will have to do some pretty in depth modding as Mattel is still plagued by shoddy production. It looks as if this figure had already been played to death with by a gorilla (remember all of those old "American Tourister" luggage commercials?)...scuff marks, gouges, scratches, paint smears, even stress marks in the plastic (as if someone forced seized up joints to move after assembly). Also, for picky people like me, the goggles were sculpted on, not clear...and to add to that, one eye is higher than the other (as a matter of fact, the whole face looks a little warped). There was about 25 Riddlers on the shelves and only one Black Lightning and one Atom, I guess everything besides the Riddler is short packed? I have yet to see an Amazo or Eradicator on shelves yet...Or a Captain Atom, Wonder Woman, Artemis, and Batman Beyond from wave 4...Or a Classic Aquaman, Harley Quinn from wave 2 either.

My pal Kastor of Kastor's Korner found Wave 5 & picked it up for me!

there are 3 WMs in my town and none of them are getting DCUC 5 until they do a reset in Jan... and even that is a big "maybe".

luckily I have a friend in Tampa and a friend in TX that hooked me up.

I'm in the same boat here in NJ.

Not a single Wal-Mart in Southern Illinois has these figures, but I'm still holding out hope.

I was in Indiana this past weekend and stumbled across this entire wave sitting on the shelf at one of their Wal-Marts.

Decent figures, but nothing really mind blowing (except for Metallo) Black Lightning was ok, Atom was decent, Riddler looked cool, Eradicator was nice, but didn't have the see through visor like the pictures show, can't even remember who the fifth one was, but it was on the shelf.

Still looking for these as well. Toured 4 Wal Marts in the Sacramento area last night and this morning and found nothing but left over Wave 1 Red Tornados... Judging by the fact that the local Wal Marts only put out the ML Ares series last week, I may have to wait another week or two before these appear. Staying hopeful though.
