Terminator Salvation at kmart

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

they had a fist, a 12 T-600, a few small scale figures, 6" t-rip (prototype endo) the arial HK, john connor, and T-1. I got the TRIP endo and T-1. didn't have enough for the HK so I'm having my dad look for the other endos and HK at walmart. if not I'm going back tomorrow to get the hk and another T-1 to mod it into a T3 version.

I think the smaller scale endos are the same. I did reviews of the 6" figures and the endos were actually different: different sculpts and one is smaller than the other. I wasn't all that impressed by the small ones but since I got the 700 free with the HK it works lol. I thought the small endos were molded in color. All I can say is they did give it a lot of articulation.

Zellers now has the 3.75 line.

I bought the T-rip. I looked at the T-700 but to me they appeare to be the same mould just diffrent paint and asscories.

I bought the T-rip because it was already silver, the T-700 I'd have to paint.

Mind you the paint on my skelltion was crap. There is paint rub on the elbow joints to the point where they are bare grey now..I bought the figure 3 hours ago and only played with it once

in the new movie there is another flying HK that seems to act as an aircraft carrier for the smaller HKs. In the game for the movie there is a four legged robot too. Yeah I'd love a ground HK but they don't seem to exist in the Terminator movies anymore or not yet. You can see the big flying HK transports in the canyon scene in this preview. They're at teh very beginning around 34 seconds in, they ahve 4 engines. they might not be HKs but I call them that since they're basically flying aircraft carriers.

In the movies there are 2 HK's

Flying which we just saw a pic of and ground which is that tank one with treads that kyle blows up in the first movie.

Flying HK

and

Ground HK

Two diffrent things.

I'd sell my left nut for a T1 or T2 movie accrurite Ground HK.

okay that is a HK. When you say plane I thought you meant the other planes in the movie. In this mnovie those are carried in even larger ones that are transport ships.

no the plane is an A-10 warthog anti tank vehicle. The HK is the flying things you see in teh future war scenes that are silver with rotating pods on the sides.

I bought another HK today to refit into the one from teh first 2 films and one of my T-1s is going to be from T3. They did make a t-1, it was in a gift pack with other figures but they were all like 3" tall. I'm waiting for the giant robot, the bikes, a t800 if they make one, and the big HK transports you see in the newest trailer. I hope they make the 4 legged terminators form the Salvation PC game too.

One of the 2 Kmarts near me had these last week, I got the 2 endoskeletons and the disguise one, can't recall the name now and finally someone made the T1! I thought McFarlane dropped the ball on T3 when they didn't do a toy of this figure. Granted the Playmate version could stand to be a bit bigger for the figures, my opinion, but not bad toys, something new for my Hulk toys to beat up on my shelves. LOL

The TRIP figure is actually a prototype T800 apparently or the 700 nobody seems sure. I'm just glad the robots have half decent articulation. I actually still like them better than the mcfarland one I bought that wants to break everytime you touch it.

Only a few looked decent, not the humans or 600. But I'm gonna get some for parts though

I'm really unimpressed with the Terminator toys but will likely pick some up on clearance...What stood out as wicked awesome to me was the T-600 Vision and Voice helmet...I love that they make these things that fit grown-ups now!!!

I wish I knew why walmart wasn't getting the terminator toys. Watch, its something stupid like it being an R rated movie or something.

Target has everything, 5 inch, what appears to be 6.5, and 12 inch. Plus they have some vehicles. Walmart and target bothhave star trek.

Turns out amazon.com has a better selection, including the A-10 warthog jet. Still no sign of the HK transports, the motorcycles or any other of the machines (cause frankly the humans look horrid lol).

Apparently Walmart isn't going to bother getting the figures >.< I've been to two stores and they don't' have them or the startrek playmate stuff. I guess Playmates wasn't giving them a good deal on figures like Hasbro so Walmart won't buy them. I hope Kmart restocks soon.

I went back today to get what I didn't manage to snag last night but the T-1s are all gone so now I have to keep an eye out for another one. Walmart doesn't' ahve the figures yet sadly. On a side note Kmart had a Transformers universe classics powerglide decepticon repaint for 22.00 what they used to be at walmart before the $4 price jump.

those startrek are a crime againt humanity lol. The endos aren't the best but the chance to have a T-1 and a aerial HK to tinker with.
