Grey Scale?

I know a lot of you are familiar with The black and white Batman statues that are out. Has anyone attempted to paint an action figure that way? Im gonna try my hand at it, I welcome anyone else to join me so that we can compare. I'll do one tonight and post Saturday. Let me know what you think.

Grey scale...you mean so the figure comes out looking like stone? Or just painted using only different shades of grey? Like Silver Surfer without the silver
