Commissions?

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

Figure Realm Creators,

My name is Lloyd. I recently started a comic book company and wanted to have figures designed to match some of the heroes. Well, finding a company to do so, is a task in itself. After much searching, I was pleased to stumble upon this site. There are so many talented individuals here. I have spent all day viewing everyone's galleries (some repeatedly). This is my first attempt at having a commission done for action figures (so I don't know price scale), but I would really like to recieve feedback from some of you on how (or if) you are willing to take on new projects. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Lloyd (aka Eclipse)

I meant maybe I can use this head

That's good to know about the Iron Man hands thing...LOL!

That works better, because as you can see from that sketch, the circles are actually on the outside of the gloves, anyways.

As for the lab/trench coat on Di'abla...it's actually red. I picked the one I sent you because it was kinda cranberryish and I figured we could just make her entire outfit that color. ANd I like your GL Kitty. So, if you think her head may work, give it a shot...you'd know better than I.

Eclipse, doesn't have to have ALL the scupltings that are shown in the picture, but if you want to then be my guest and go right ahead. I actually prefer the regular ribcage look.

I sent you additional photos. If there is anything else you need, let me know!

Well, since you want most of them made Marvel Legends-style then Diabla would be pretty easy to make with an Elecktra body and the Punisher coat. Maybe even an Invisible Woman body? I have a head that looks like Diabla but it might be too small since it's from a 5inch figure, but I used a 5inch head on my GL Kitty custom and it tunred out fine, so we'll see? I have a I have a black Punisher coat but if you want it brown then Gambit's coat would work. Gambits are around 10 to 15 dollars loose though...I could always try to make a coat

Lisa would be easy to make, just have to use a little sculpey to make her look like she's wearing a sweater.

Eclipse looks simple to make, and if you want him to have all those designs on his suit then sculpey would be the answer again.

You don't have to spend 100 dollars on a gold Iron Man just for the hands lol, you can make that with any hands and a little sculpey.

I'm up for making Diabla and Eclipse. I'll just need some more sketches of their boots and gloves

I was talking about for display, but after seeing the comic strip you put together, I may wind up doing a little bit of both. I could really get creative with that! Thanks everyone for getting back in touch with me so quickly, I really appreciate it.

Ooooh sounds interesting, will you be using the customs in comics like this or are they just for display? I'm decent at making customs but the rest of these guys are something else

I'd charge whatever the bodyparts cost (maybe 15-25 dollars), shipping, and some gas money

Have any pictures of what you need made?
