Which Spiderman do you recommend?

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

I want to get a Spiderman in his original blue/red suit to fit with my Marvel Legends but I don't know which one to get. There's just so many to choose from! I looked around websites to get close up looks of all of them but they all look the same as a picture

Which one do you recommend? The ML one, or the SMC one, or the movie version, I don't know! @_@ I would just buy a bunch of them but shipping costs are killer when no one wants to send the toys loose

Thanks for the pictures! They're very helpful. I like the Movie one and the Snapshot one, I'll get both of them if I can

I have the same problem as you, no spiderman can really fix my needs.
Up to now the "McFarlane Spider-Man" and "Sinister Six Spider-Man" are bit better than others.

I found a quick reference for you guys....

First Apperance Spider-Man (Marvel Legends Series 10)

Snapshot Spider-Man (Spider-Man Classic Series 10)

McFarlane Spider-Man (Spider-Man Classics 12)

Ultimate Spider-Man (Spider-Man Classics 11)

Sinister Six Spider-Man (Spider-Man vs the Sinister Six Gift Set)

Black Costume Spider-Man (Spider-Man Series 9)

Spider-Man (Spider-Man Movie)

The one they made that has some blue in the color scheme is cool too, its part of that series that all the Spidey villians came in...I think its some kinda ooze that comes with him and a big Venom face.

Buy the current Spider Man classics Venom it is by far the best one released to date. The heads a little hokie with no movement but overall the sculpt is very fitting. Toybiz got the right texture and muscle structure for the figure.

I wish they would make the black/silver Armored Spiderman like he looked in the old cartoons. I know they made a 6-inch one to fit the Marvel Legends line but he just looks like a regular Spiderman painted black and silver. I might have to make a good one myself

Scarlet Spiderman I would buy if I ever found one. I wanted to get a Venom also but don't know which to buy either. Any suggestions?

The legends one isn't to bad. It doesn't have the red and blue but it does do justice to the way he looked when he first showed up.

As far as the Spiderman Classics toys go there really is no need for 50 different Spidermen. I know that they put those out to attract the kids but does little Jimmy Really care about Deep Sea Diver Spiderman. Whenever I go shopping all I ever see is the special features ones, even little kids just want regular spidey. However special editons that he actually wore are a different story I had a hard time getting ahold of a Spider Hulk, the reason being I beleive is because Spidey actually went Hulk in the comics at one point (got the issues). If Toybiz would release his actual costumes from the previous years (Scarlet Spider, Ben Reilly, etc...) I think there sales would go up greatly. Either way what I'm trying to say is there is no beating the classic.

That's what I was thinking becuase the movie Spiderman looks good...I think I saw one with over 60 POA, what is that all about!? Every single nook and cranny on him was articulated! @_@

All the other Spidermen have some wierd design, wether they're too skinny or their eyes are too small or too big or the head is shaped oddly

I really like the the movie ones they have super articulation and hes got the classic Red and Blue. The only draw back is the silver costume webbing but that can be rectified with magic of a Sharpie

I saw the Sentinel Series one but I didn't like it xP

The one in the Sinister 6 pack looked okay but I still want to look around :]

Whoa, A Spiderman big enough to destroy a Sentinel

I'd say the ML, but thats just because thats the only one I need to have all from the sentinel series. The best one I seen was that 16 or 18" that had like 60 points of movement
