No no... I'm nobody's Master.

I like both both shows, but I like Atlantis a little more. It's a little more exciting to run the base of operations from the hidden city of Atlantis then a military base in a cave. I started watching both of them at the same time, so I wasn't accustomed to just watching SG-1, or I would probably be more partial to it.

I just saw those Stargate figs and they look perfect! They seem to be taller than 6 inches so I don't think they'll be getting into my comics anytime soon

Like Dr Nightmare I prefer SG-1, as I have not seen any Atlantis. I am not sure if Atlantis is in syndication over here yet. I only have Satellite TV the last few months so maybe it is due back on screens shortly. SG-1 is only on Season 6 or 7 here I think.

I too am collecting the original Stargate figures, though I only have one or two items, I am waiting for a complete set of figures to come on ebay for a decent price, there are two full sets on ebay at the moment I am watching.

The problem for us in Europe is the cost of postage. Buying one figure at a time can be more costly than buying an entire set.

I like the SG-1 series simply because MacGuyver is in it I wish they would have made an episode where he grows a mullet, or does something insane with a paperclip and some old gum.

I haven't seen too much of the Atlantis series since it airs at around midnight here, and at that time I'm listening to radio programs or looking for late-night ebay auctions to win And I got used to the old crew, so maybe that has something to do with it...

Yes, welcome aboard Omega Man. Hoooraayy! A Stargate fan. I try and watch the episodes when I can. So which do you like better, SG-1 or Atlantis?

The new action figures look cool. I will probably pick them up at some point to go with my original Stargate collection

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am in fact Irish, living in Ireland. I would be happy to be the ?Stargate Guy?. I just happen to like the show, am not a die-hard fan or anything. Diamond Select are just releasing Series One now, so I thought I would grab them while they are new. I believe some of the first issue have miss prints on the packaging and incorrect uniforms on some characters. Oh the joy. I also collect some Star Wars, Star Trek,MEGO and other sci-fi stuff. I am also thinking of picking up some Lotr items as they have dropped in price a lot. The link below is for a review page on the Stargate characters. At the moment I have the Jaffa character, am waiting for the rest to be delivered.
