Iron Man 2 6"

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

Hey, does anyone know when the Iron Man 2 6" figure will be in stores and is there going to be a two-pack of Iron Man and War Machine?

Yesterday I was amazed to find these have actually made it to the UK, I was also amazed to see the £12.99 price tag so I think I'll leave them in Asda where I saw them at least until they're cheaper.

SDCC exclusive.

Once that's over you'll probably find him on amazon, ebay, and bigbadtoy store. I got the SDCC exclusive Soundwave on amazon at xmas time. Whatever doesn't go at the con gets sold off to online retailers it seems.

I looked and saw that too, they're just advertising the 3.75 figures. However, toys r us has a 3 pack exclusive 6" of artic armor (repaint of subterranean armor), star something armor (another repaint) and sandstorm (stealth striker/inferno) all of which are from the first movie with new paint and swapped out weapons and a couple new.

I managed to snag a WM and IM, but I'm a mite confused, on the back of the card for both figures it advertises the MK 1 and "deep dive armor" IM along with either MK6 IM or WM (depending on which figure packaging you look at). Neither the MK 1 or the deep dive armor are set to be released in 6" scale though.

O.K., does anyone know? are the 3 figures the only 6 inch ones that are gonna be produced? I saw a pic of Robert Downey Jr. holding a 6" unmasked Iron Man version with sunglasses on, so will there be any variants? I gotta have a Scarlett Johannson Black Widow! Seriously, no Ivan Vanko? WTF, Hasbro? I don't understand why Hasbro has flooded the market with a gazillion 3 inch versions of Iron Man (that are not even in the movies) and they can't do more of the supporting characters, O.K., supposedly there is a 3 inch Vanko (If you can get to Wal-Mart when all the proper stars are aligned). I don't have a problem with the smaller scale figures, but not if that means cutting back or not producing them in 6 inch scale.

Found 2 mk 6 IM's today at my 'mart, both had paint issues on the face plate. They must have stocked them in the morning today or yesterday after I left. Hopefully they'll restock by the time I leave tomorrow.

wow and I complain about ours. they want to jack it up to 10% and start taxing clothing but they've realized they'll drive business away. A lot of out of state folks come to get clothes in PA.

I pay 13% sales tax and I'm happy to do so because most of my life it's been 15%.

The way I see it though is that these are worth it. If they wer made the way the first movie figs were I'd be really p***ed off about it. Sadly I still haven't seen the mk5 in person yet. Tore my wa machine apart for LEDs already. Trying the shave down the clear swizzle picks to fit the eyes.

12.95 + 9.5% sales tax @ local wm 1, Haven't seen em' at local wm 2~but tax would only be 8.2% there

Prices vary by store it seems. Something at the lower income area store my dad works at is less than the slgihtly nicer store a half hour in the other direction. And then sometimes it's the other way around.

Yesterday I actually did not go to the other wal-mart because I went to my regular one and they had the mark 6 and War Machine. I piked up War Machine and he is great. my only complaint is the price: it was a total of $13.40 with tax included !But that will not stop me from getting the Mark 6 eventually.

The joys of walmart. they're cutting back in store inventories but are always sold out online. MY dad works nights at one and looks for stuff for me as he cleans and hasn't seen them. Since his walmart is in a very low income area they tend not to carry much other than what they know really sells well plus that isle is being overtaken by the constant ROTF tf figures they keep getting and not selling.
I live in city on the border of two states so we have two wal-marts. the wal-mark I usually go to does not have them yet. I'm going to check the others state's wal-mart today.

I'm the same way I have a walmart 15 minutes in either direction and neither have crap lately. I don't know if we should blame hasbro or walmart (I say both)

In the first row: custom iron man, mk6, war machine, custom war machine. 2nd row stealth 2-pack iron man. Back: mk2, walmart iron man 1 war machine, ult iron man, ml8 iron man
they're all (except the first one) about the same height. The movie wm and mk6 are actually slightly taller than the first movie figures

Like scale wise how do they match up with the HL 2 pack iron man or the ML 8 one does to me are the definitive IMs

They are in scale with ml figures, picked up both wm and mk6, my wm is flawless, and the mk6 has slight mishaps with the paint but nothing major. I have yet to see mk5 on the pegs yet, also I'm gonna grab another mk6 and resculpt his chest to be mk4 (they have the same legs and arms just the chest plating is different), then I'll have all armors mk1-6

They say 6" so I guess they are in scale. I don't know about you but I won't care that much. the fist movie figure where in scale enough for me.
meh the first movie ones bugged me. Why is man in armor shorter then some of my non armored figs like blade or iron fist.
Well you have a point there.

I am going to pick all three of them up and the ml ultimate nick fury while I'm at it. I am also going to be making a lot of 6" customs from the movie because I do not like the 3" ones.

I picked up the War Machine today, it looks absolutely awesome...but the articulation at the hips is seized up...anyone else have this problem? I passed on the Iron man, I didn't like the looks of him, his colors were just not right.
