so I'm looking at the new pursuit of cobra figures, and I'm loving the fact that they're doing full urban assault figures and vehicles as well as releasing with the new vehicle a variant alley viper, as if the one they released wasn't cool enough. I also like the updated version of Zartan. I think over all this entire new line is sick as SH!T

I find its hit or miss. I love the Fury and Wolfhound! This is the first time ever I have wanted Alley Vipers and wave 3 is pure win(I think its the best Storm Shadow in years and the best Snake Eyes EVER!). I wasent impressed with Beach Head, Recondo or Quick Kick and it kind of bugs me when a figure can't hold his weapons well but Im enjoying it as a whole and really looking forward to Low Light in wave 4. If they do release a Tecno Viper Ill be a happy man, it was always a favorite and im glad they are extending it but I hope they broaden the figure choices- we've gotten 2 Dukes, 3 Snake Eyes, 2 Storm Shadows and 2 Destros, the first army builder was a chase figure ( ) in a wave with 2 other chase figures- this was out of the 22 single carded figures.

It's basically a jumping off point from Rise Of Cobra...not really an extension, but not an entirely new line either. The mechs look pretty cool, and they were originally meant for Sigma Six with their smaller figures. I'd buy the cobra mech, but as I've said I don't really do vehicles, and it's too pricey for just the cyber viper.

I thought this series was based on the movie figures. I was looking at the mecha they have out but its too pricey.

Well hasbro is extending the line, so I'd love to see a Range Viper. I've already heard rumors that we'll be getting a Techno Viper in wave 5.

yeah that variant viper looks pretty killer, I kinda hope they release a range viper, make it just a little more updated military sniper

Man the vipers are going to be hard to find...besides Cobra Commander, the vipers are the big things in the line. Not to mention that new Snake Eyes in wave 3. Cobra Commander was considered a chase figure, and I've never seen him in the wild...had to buy mine from Hasbrotoyshop.com...I don't collect vehicles, but I am very interested in the Cobra Fury, for the simple reason that it comes with an Alley Viper variant.

Nope, you guys arent the only ones discussing Joes I have seen the POC ine as well and think that the realism on this line is pretty cool. I also like the fact that a lot of the vehicles are using the same molds from the old school joe vehicles. I've got to pick up the WolfHound and I agree that Beachhead and Snake-Eyes look sweet. I havent seen those Vipers yet though.

He's not the best Storm Shadow I've ever seen, but I'll probably buy him anyway, as I'm an avid Storm Shadow fan.

yeah I saw that, I'm not a huge fan of that new storm shadow that they're releasing... looks like it be a cool base for ninja gaiden, but that's about it

I don't army build, I don't really have the space or money for it, although I do have quite a few ROC Neo Vipers, but I'm trying to get rid of some of those. But yeah the army builders seem to love the line thanks to Alley Viper, Jungle Viper and now the Shock Trooper. Wave 4 won't have an army builder, unless Shadow Tracker is considered as such.

personally I think it's a nice army builder series, it gives a modern updated version of classics that don't look all weird like in the movies, the vipers are actually distinguishable... plus that beachhead is just sick

Have to agree with you dude, I'm actively collecting this line at the moment, and if it wasn't for the fact that I don't usually collect G.I. Joe vehicles I would have gotten the fury just because of the variant Alley Viper(who is arguably the best figure in the line) I'm done with Wave 1, lacking Recondo in wave 2, and I'm all kinds of excited about wave 3...you've got your definitive Snake Eyes figure, and then probably most awesome of all the Cobra Shock Trooper. It's a great time to be a G.I. Joe fan.
