As angry as MArvels comics have made me lately, I'm still pretty excited for Marvel Legends return. That Ghost Rider is sick. What's happening with the upcoming Fantomex?

The beginning of the posts states Jan. 1 for wave 1 of the Legends line. I haven't heard an exact date on the movie line but pre-order are being taken over the internet in the $30-$40 range! I hope retailers order a decent amount. I can say Fury may comes with 2 handguns and 2 rifles and uses a base similar to Hasbro ML Punisher. Captain America is being shown to have 1 handgun, 1 rifle, and of course his shield. I am hoping the MU lines character selection is carried over with uniform variants above just basic repaints! Given Hasbro's past lines I am going to bet checking Walmart, Toys r Us , and probably Target are the only way you will find a decent selection.

Aww, man, I am super stoked! I had a short review with some of the pics of wave 1 & 2 on my site but I never saw the movie line releases. Can't wait to own the 2 pack Cap and Fury amd Although my son got the Hasbro Thor and Toybiz Loki, I have yet to get my hands on them! His collection makes mine look underfed. Lol

COOL!! I can't wait for these to come out! Sad to hear about the ball-jointed hips being replaced but then I realised that the replacment style is the same as the WWE Elite figures. I think those have darn near the same amount of poseability and they look better. Anything but those crappy hips that Hasbro was using

At the very least it's more bases and fodder for building. And at best we could have some gems that surprise us. Win win! If they come out with say, a badass Gambit, Iron Fist, and several others on my list it'll make my job a lot easier. :-) Bring on the Legends baby!

and by the way man, thanks a lot for goin to all the trouble to get us these pics and all the info, you made my week! the "all star" type thing sounds awesome, maybe they can release a jen grey/pheonix repaint made to look like the jim lee version, that would be a mega fan pleaser! I always check hasbro and they never have any legends that you can order,I hope that changes because I would rather get it from them than tru,if you ever find toys at big lots or k mart the price difference is crazy, also there is a great indoor flea market near my house that sells legends and all sorts of wonderfull geeky greatness for dirt cheapi got a bi beast for four bucks!!!!! I can't wait to get that hope, most of my female legends are my daughters(sorta, just for fun so she can collect with me)and we havent gotten anything I awile!lets hope and pray the ghost rider comes with a bike.you know what would be a cool baf? kurrth the breaker of stone!

They did mention they will be doing 1 figure in each wave sort of in the style of DCUC's "All-Stars".
Figure won't come with a BAF piece and will be a re-release or repaint of a previously released "Heavy Hitter/Popular" figure.
However, They have mentioned they will phase out the older (ToyBiz) Sculpts and Designs... So I dunno.

The price on Legends is actually announced to be an MSRP of 14.99, Where the sub-lines are 10.99 (However TRU obviously does not follow these suggested prices...)

SDCC Thor + Other Hasbro SDCC Exclusives will be available in short supply today (7/25) on http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com/
Should be 24.99 + Shipping~I'm hoping to snag one, I'll give a shout when I see 'em put up.

true, but it makes us(not me really I just like a full collection and lots of characters in stores) happy as collectors to keep the prices of our stuff goin up and not down, but honestly the value of my collection doesn't affect what I buy,I just buy the ones I like, although some peeps buy simply for makin money later, which sucks for us when we can't find them in stores and have to shell out thirty bucks for a brand new ten dollar figure, but im not tryin to complain,im happy to get them at all!its a privelage to live somewhere where we can collect toys for fun, either way I am so excited about these bad boys, never thought they would make a madame masque figure! I wonder how long we will have to wait in between waves before they release the next, keep em comin hasbro!!!I am kinda starting to dig the terrax too

It does hurt the collectability and price of the originals, but I think that is there intention. A highly collectable figure with a high price point profits the toy company exactly 0, but re-releasing the figure in a new wave makes them profit.

I am excited they are bringing them back, just wish they could make at least 75% of the set definite wants and better distribution, anyone still waiting for a toybiz deadpool and juggernaut? But they do look sweet and will definitely check them out. As for Terrax I like him when Ron Lim drew him around the time of Nova's death, better size and look all around. If you go back and see Apocalypse when he first came out was skinny then went on a crazy work-out regimen and became truly awesome and frightening.

question: for the collector.wouldn't re-releasing legends(like the king/lord thor) kinda de-value the old original ones?I mean personally I think its cool, like when they did it for spidey origins 6 inch series, but it seems like it would hurt the collectability and price of the original.but hey,im geeked that they are bringin legends back, and actually pretty excited for the sub lines,I was beginning to feel like mu was gonna take over and we would only get craptastic six inch figures, arnim zola looks cool!!so does that loki!!!baf is back, nerds rejoice along with me!I hope they really are 10.99,that price really isnt too bad at all, wave two daken,I wonder if that will be an old wolverine sculpt or if they will make it look cool

agreed would rather take his weapon away and show it to my terrax and see if he cries lol. Would like to get a better view of the head whether it is worth it or not, mainly he is a fodder piece such as weapon and maybe the head.

I like the head sculpt:

I hate that he can't hold his own axe, Really hoping they fix that before release.
As for him being too scrawny~This actually his most common appearance in the comics.

Though, I'll agree his bulkier shorter appearance fits him a bit better.
Not really, that's a super old pic. He's significantly more muscular, and depending on the artist, a lot broader. It's not even his build that really bugs me about him, it's the super thick red part over his chest. Way too thick. Don't get me wrong the figure looks okay, but lets face it, it's not the best version of Terrax that they could have made. It's all good though, I'm just happy they are making Marvel Legends in general.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! that was me sceaming for joy, ok now here is my plan I just took pics of a bunch of my collection that I am gonna get rid of to make way for ,well, all of those! yeah they could be better but man they are gold compared to emma frost, movie beast and bad back "I can't move" ben reilly, the terrax is not as big or cool looking as I thought it would be,but the dan ketch and constrictor, and hope?!? dude that is worth gettin the whole line, and I like the 6 inch movie ones, looks like some fancy pants repaints of ones I never got to buy from a couple years back, time to start eating bugs and saving mola....

I find it interesting that so many people like the Terrax. To me he looks wayyyyy to scrawny, like Terrax's younger brother Nerdax.

I would definitely pick up a couple of the pieces and love terrax but would just use his weapon and make my own. when anyone finds out if constrictors tentacles are bendable, I would love to know. Not interested in him if they are stationary, but glad to see them back, love the dc figs, just like to make my own. And the more that comes out the better off we all are.

Wave 2 should be revealed and in the case by saturday.
Word is: One of the Hasbro people said they just finished a Gladiator sculpt but arent sure they can "fit it in". (I assume they mean the first 2 waves)
So hopefully we should finally get a 6" Gladiator at some point.

It looks like he would sit great on a bike (His arms and hands look like they want to be resting on handlebars).
But, Knowing Hasbro~It won't happen.

I'm not thoroughly blown away by the quality (Has not seemed to improve all that much from the last waves they put out), especially after the wait they put us through... But I'm happy to have them return at all.

Also that secret agent and movie cap gives people new chances to get shields for awesome meastro hulk customs.

Love how Modern the wave is. What I do not love is the low chances of Ghost Rider coming with a bike
