Perils of the Bold action figure webcomic

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

Howdy, folks. I thought you all might like my photographic webcomic starring customized Shockini and Stikfas action figures.

Let me know what you think of it.

I did download it, but it only comes with a 5 day trial. I think it's easier to use Photoshoppe and do your comics panel by panel than in that program. Photoshoppe allows for much more versatility and I already know how do use it.

Did you download it?

I'd rather use a program designed to make comics than Photoshop. I'm assuming the program makes making comics 1000 times easier, but if it's just a mediocre program then I'll have to stick to PS. :[

I'm not really impressed. Not really anything you can't just do in Photoshoppe. It seems too heavy handed. If you really need backdrops for your scenes, just get a picture online and set your figures in them like I do sometimes.

No problem

Have you seen how this thing works? http://www.mycomicbookcreator.com/marvelheroes/

It looks like a dream come true to me, so I can make special text, bubbles, backgrounds, etc. The newer comics I make all use bubbles but I need more backdrops

Night, thanks for doing that. I guess my search of these forums was not exhaustive enough.

Yeah, I read a few of your comics when I posted. Coolness.

I use Visio to compose the comics. Makes text and speech balloons very easy. I use Photoshop to size the images and do special fx.

Hey Eric, :]

I already told everyone about it here (and a few other forums too). It's a fun comic! I'm looking for programs to help make comic-pages more easily than Photoshop. I'm guessing you've seen the craptacular comics we have?
