This weekend the UK action figure scene went into meltdown as the newest Redpool and white Doom turned up at one of our bargain stores for a bargain price. People got crazy, lifelong friendships were broken, heck people were even selling there own grandmas to get in on the action. I got two reds a doom and a punisher. Selling one red in the hope I can keep the others and repay the mrs. The money I borrowed to get them .
I'm working on a trade for a Redpool. Still looking to get a FF White Dr. Doom. I've got some decent stuff for trade if anyone is interested.
Does anyone know how/why these hit the market? I noticed one of the sellers on eBay that has stuff early from overseas had the TRU Blue & Yellow Deadpool and Redpool up for sale recently.
These things all got snapped up mate not sure if there'll be a restock but I'll be keeping my eye out, you'll be first on my list Caboose if I find any more .
It's great that some DP's are actually showing up in stores, sometimes with figures like that it seems like they get snapped up so fast that no one even see's them on store shelves!
They sound like final fantasy figure collectors. My friend had hers stolen by her ex when they broke up and good god. I didn't think ff7 figures went up that much in 3 years. I can only imagine the madness at the walmarts around here with the scalpers.
It's crazy, one guy spent all day travelling round, snapping them up, he ended up with 7 and straight away started trying to sell them in the UK for 25 pounds plus shipping, that's 5 times cost. I bought an extra one and put him on Ebay, cost starting bid, that way people only pay what they're willing to. I'll see how he goes beofre I decide what to do with the white doom and other redpool. I'm keeping the Punisher
