Rules of the Custom Workstation

Posted in Custom Workstation

The custom workstation is a place for you to show people how much work really went into all your custom projects. You can post work in progress pictures of your custom figures and dioramas, or you can share those details about your customs that you couldn't find room for in your figure submissions.

Rules of the workstation:

1. Only WIP (Work In Progress) pictures are allowed. Please do not post pictures of the finished project.

2. You may post your WIP pictures before or after submitting your custom to the Showcase. After posting your WIP pictures here, you are encouraged to post a link to the finished project in the Showcase.

As always, make sure you follow the Code of Conduct to keep our forums clean and friendly!

I guarantee I am not a bot. If I was, I wouldn't take a shower before posting ....lol If you look at my name on the custom figure part of this website I have posted over 30 figures the past couple months. I don't think porn bots create custom figures. I just haven't tried posting on the forum until now. Thanx, for the help though.

Your first few posts need to be approved so we can be sure you're not going to post anything malicious. I'm not saying you would but for all we know you could be a spambot posting links to illegal software, adult sites or viruses, it's just a measure to keep our members safe. Keep posting and you'll be able to post without approval in no time. As for us checking your cleanliness............ think we'll take your word for it . Welcome to the realm.

I took a shower right before I tried to post my WIP thread..... Still says I need approved by a moderator. Hopefully you do not need to come over to approve my cleanliness. That would just be weird

Well, firstly welcom!
Secondly, yes. You can use something like flicker, photobucket or a higher hosting service.
And you most be a member for a bit and post some real comments befor we just let people upload willynilly.
Need to be sure your not a bot.
So commet on stuff, post questions. Just get familiar with the forums. And befor you know it, you'll be wipin' it up!

I have a quick question - I tried to create a WIP thread and post some pics. There doesn't seem to be a way to upload the pics so I had to use my own hosting... but I was given a message that I'm not allowed to post links. So... how do I post WIP pics if I can't upload them or post them as links?

Anyone with an existing wip thread who wants their thread moving can contact either myself or one of the other mods and we'll be happy to do so. A link to your thread would be helpful.

This is a good idea. I always felt bad like I was taking up valuable
Question space in the questions help section. I also hope this encourages others
To start wips pages so newcomers and vets alike can see how each persons
Process works. For me, just by looking at a WIP I usually can see how and what they did from a
Step or two back. Helps a lot with figuring things out.
