Here's the work I've been doing on my Victorian Era Cyclops.




I burnt my hand doing the rewiring (I put in a slider switch so the light can stay on) so there will have to be some down time for my fingers can heal up. Can't paint or sculpt really well right now.

Still have to paint his suit brown, make his glasses and sculpt a derby hat to finish him off.

looks good so far and hope you get to feeling better soon. I agree we all have some horror stories and have shed some blood for our work, but we all learn. I know my mistakes are less frequent, so practice makes perfect. Can't wait to see him done, love your work.

It's really not emphasized enough, but SAFETY is SO, SO important when customizing.

I'm quite certain that we ALL have some pretty bad customizing horror stories to tell.

Just remember: NO custom figure is worth major injury. Look at it this way: What good is having created the most AWESOME custom figure if you can't even see it because you are blinded from not having worn eye protection?

On a different note, this Cyclops figure is really going to rock hard!!! Well done!
